Lenovo P2

The P2 is Lenovo's biggest phone launch to date in the UK that doesn't feature the Moto branding.

Lenovo P2 preview: Boasting a 5,100mAh battery in a 5.5-inch design

Welcome to the big battery club. This is the Lenovo P2, which boasts a 5,100mAh battery in a 5.5-inch screen device. And it's really not as chunky a phone as you might expect, which goes to show just how advanced battery tech has become.

Lenovo P2 review

Is three day battery life truly possible?

Phenomenal battery life ; Attractive metal build ; Gorgeous display for the money

Heavy and quite large ; Limited camera ; Annoying battery saver switch

The Lenovo P2 offers incredible battery life and still manages to tick off all the other aspects you'd want from a fantastic budget phone. If you're looking for a phone that lasts over two days, the Lenovo P2 is for you.

Lenovo P2 review: The best smartphone battery life, period

With a monstrous battery life, the Lenovo P2 will keep on going long after others have keeled over

The best smartphone battery life ; Brilliant display, on a budget ; Speedy performance

Camera could be better

There is competition. You can buy the Moto G4 for £40 less, and in return get a rear camera that’s a better performer in low light, while the Honor 6X is arguably sexier, for around £25 more. Yet still we come back to the P2’s amazing battery life and...

Lenovo P2 review

The Lenovo P2 boasts a three-day battery life and build quality well beyond its budget price, and you can even use it as a power bank to charge your other devices. Read more in our Lenovo P2 review.

The Lenovo P2 is really being sold on the strength of its battery, and the great news is that it lives up to the company’s hype, offering you days of usage and a power bank in a pinch. Throw in the premium design and build quality, and you have a phone...

Lenovo P2 Review: In Depth

Lenovo P2 Review: Lenovo's great-value P2 smartphone, which boasts a massive 5000mAh battery, just hit the UK with a sexy low asking price of £199.

Ridiculous battery life ; Crisp, colourful screen ; Strong customisation ; Rugged design

Mic issues

The Lenovo P2’s awesomeness thankfully extends well past the ridiculously good battery life. For just £200 (or £23 per month on contract), you get a well-specced handset that’s great for enjoying media on the move, as well as reassuringly rugged. As a...

Lenovo P2 review: budget brilliance with a beast of a battery

The phone that keeps going, and going, and going...

Record-shattering battery life; Decent performance; Great value

Disappointing camera; Uninspiring design

An astonishing three-day battery life would be enough to carry the Lenovo P2 on its own, but the fact that it’s got performance to back it up as well earns it a spot as one of the best smartphones of 2017.

Lenovo P2 review: A phone with the battery of your dreams

The Lenovo P2 is a near perfect lower mid-range phone. It meets or exceeds rivals in almost every way and its battery life is superb.

+ Amazing battery ; + Stylish build ; + Packed full of power and features

- Middling camera ; - 5.5 inches but only 1080p ; - Unoriginal appearance

The Lenovo P2 goes well above and beyond what you’d expect from a £200 phone. In almost every way it’s at least as good as similarly priced rivals, and in many it’s far better.

Lenovo P2 Review

The BIG selling point of the Lenovo P2 is its HUGE 5,100mAh battery cell - there are very few, if any, other phones which pack a battery this big, in fact it's approaching tablet levels.

Best battery life EVER, Nice metal build and design, Fast processor performance, Excellent display

Mediocre camera

A really great phone with a lot of clout in a few key areas. It has the best battery performance you'll find anywhere, while being fast, well-made, and packing an excellent OLED display.

Lenovo P2 Smartphone Review

P as in "potent battery". Lenovo launches a powerful mid-range handset called P2 on the market. The highlight is supposed to be its gigantic battery that is hidden in a relatively compact casing. The battery life is, in fact, top notch but what about...

superb speaker ; low temperatures ; solid metal casing ; very long battery life ; low power consumption ; many options of use ; good software ; decent performance ; viewing angle and color accurate screen ; dual-SIM, USB-OTG and NFC ; decent camera...

slightly inaccurate gaps ; software sometimes translated poorly ; distorted microphone ; poor low-light photos ; comparatively dark screen

We already mentioned that the battery life of Lenovo's P2 is fantastic in the introduction. However, we were really surprised that Lenovo has created such an overall complete handset. An elegant and solid casing, decent performance rates, relatively...
