LG GD510 Pop

The Pop is LG's smallest touchscreen phone to date but has too much been taken out to keep the size down?

LG Pop GD510 review

Has LG scraped too much off this budget touchscreen?

Attractive design with slim, lightweight build Comfortably usable interface ; Good quality audio performance ; Decent text message experience ; 3-megapixel camera ; Sub-£100 price tag

No 3G or Wi-Fi high-speed data connectivity ; Slow browsing and online app experience ; Limited feature set ; Camera limited, with no flash or autofocus ; Video capture quality poor

A decent device for those on a budget - but you do very much get what you pay for.

LG GD510 Pop

At just £99.95, the LG Pop is an excellent buy. The Korean company heralds it as the world's smallest touchscreen phone but to merit the handset merely for its size is to do it an injustice. Yes it has a 3-inch touchscreen and, yes, the casing around...

Fantastic value, very usable and lovely design on a budget

No 3G, no Wi-Fi, no 3.5mm jack

LG has really done an excellent job with the Pop. It's a great handset to use if you don't want to spend big on a mobile phone. The slow internet connectivity is a bit of a bind given that the software is there ready and waiting to help you access...

The first bona fide budget touchphone, the LG Cookie, tasted sweet success. Can its follow-up, the LG Pop, taste similar chart success?

The pint-sized Pop is no world-beater, but touchphone fans on a tight budget should certainly give it an audition

LG POP GD510 review -

The world?s smallest touch-screen phone maintains a build and design gravitas

Browsing via EDGE data speeds can lead to some thumb twiddling, while the webpage zoom option proved temperamental

LG Pop GD510

LG is looking to stem Samsung's entry-level touch phone dominance with the compact Pop GD510, set to take on the likes of the Genoa and Star. And from what we have experienced it's definitely a contender.

S-class user interface is cool and intuitive, very compact design, nice interchangeable covers.

Landscape keyboard isn't the most finger friendly, no flash for camera, no 3G, no 3.5 mm jack.

LG Fun Mobile Phone Pop GD510

This phone is clearly marked GD510 on the box and while the initial press release called it the LG Fun their website (link at the end) calls it the LG Pop. Either way this phone packs a lot in and I can see it being popular.

It was also available on pay as you go for £99.95 on various providers see the link below

LG GD510 Pop

Not actually a bad phone, just one let down by the choice of touchscreen tech.

The Pop is another of LG's attempts to bring touchscreen technology to a more youthful, more cost-conscious audience. And it may well appeal to anyone fed up with the size of smartphones: it's about three-quarters the size of an iPhone, so much more...

Over all, it’s not even near the standards of many of the touch screens on the market but for a low-cost and entry level touch screen phone the LG GD510 Pop is well worth considering.

LG GD510 POP Review

The LG Pop has followed today's common market theme of being a touch screen phone. There is a big difference here though, and that's the price. It's much more affordable than other touch screen phones. The LG GD510 Pop What's in the...

Affordable price ; Compact ; Lightweight ; Quite simple to use ; Optional solar panel back ; Good battery life

Touch screen not very sensitive ; No camera flash ; No 3G ; No Wi-Fi ; Too small? (or lack of stylus)
