LG Spirit

The LG Spirit is a 4.7in Android phone, drawing on the design and hardware of the vastly more expensive LG G4 and packing it into a smaller, more affordable body.

Attractive, slightly curved design ; Sharp 720p HD screen ; Surprisingly decent speaker

Some performance issues when multitasking ; Lack of camera modes such as HDR

LG Spirit review

The snap happy hippy

Compact design ; Nice looking display ; Running Android 5.0 Lollipop

Smaller battery ; Poor front camera ; Only 8GB internal storage

A seemingly decent phone that needs a low price to go alongside.

LG Spirit review

Good battery life and a decent camera, but the LG Spirit doesn't do enough to stand out from the crowd

The LG Spirit isn't a particularly memorable handset, then, but it does have a decent camera and good battery life. However, when the Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 gives you so much more for your money, including faster performance and a superior 5.5in Full...

LG Spirit Review: In Depth

LG Spirit review: LG's cut-price £129 Android phone packs in a few of the G4's features, plus an HD screen and 8-megapixel camera. It was...

Compact design ; Sharp screen ; Simple camera UI

No camera HDR ; Love-or-hate interface

LG’s Spirit is a loveable little phone in an increasingly crowded £100-£150 price bracket. It’s a little bit pricier than rivals such as Vodafone’s Smart Prime 6, but it’s also pleasingly compact and sports plenty of unique features that you won’t find...

LG Optimus Spirit Android phone

LG Optimus Spirit review: A cheap Android phone that offers plenty of bang for your buck

Competitive price ; Responsive touchscreen ; Good build quality

Cramped screen ; Sluggish performance ; Average battery life

The LG Optimus Spirit provides decent value for money so long as you're not expecting it to rival more expensive Android phones. It can be a little sluggish to use at times and the cramped screen makes text messaging difficult.

LG Spirit 4G (MetroPCS) review: Zippy LTE with Android 4.0 at a reasonable price

Save for one handset (the LG Motion 4G ), all of MetroPCS' LG handsets have been stuck on Gingerbread.

The LG Spirit 4G has a big, vibrant screen and 4G LTE, and is one of the few Android 4.0 ICS handsets on MetroPCS.

The Spirit 4G's audio speaker is poor and I heard my voice echoing at times during calls.

Despite its ho-hum call quality, the LG Spirit 4G is an affordable smartphone that performs reliably and runs Android 4.0.

LG Spirit 4G (MetroPCS)

The LG Spirit 4G is the best deal you can get on an LTE smartphone for MetroPCS right now.

Relatively inexpensive. Powerful processor. Fast LTE speeds. Thin, light design.

Poor camera.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions You get 4.07GB of internal storage, along with an empty microSD card slot underneath the battery cover. I was able to use 32 and 64GB SanDisk cards without issue. The phone played AAC, MP3, OGG, WAV, and WMA music...

LG Spirit 4G Smartphone Review

Curvy. The LG Spirit is a middle-class Smartphone with a stylish, curvy back. However, unlike its back, the front and, by extension, the display is straight. How does the device match up against the competition? Is it all looks?

Ergonomic, curvy back, Sturdy case, Removable battery, Long battery life, Latest Android, Does not heat up too much, Decent speakers, Great resolution, Rear camera takes good pictures, Fast LTE

Too little storage, Modest speech quality, Slight blue tinge, OS stutters now and then

The LG Spirit is a good middle-class package: cheap, suitable performance, a stylish yet ergonomic case and a decent, high-resolution panel. The battery life is quite long and the temperature emissions are low. The interface is good and the...
