No dough for the Note 8? Try LG’s cheap phone instead

Note 8 too pricey for your budget? LG's Stylo 3 is a cheap alternative. Just don't expect much.

The LG Stylo 3 has a stylus and costs a fraction of the Galaxy Note 8's price. Its removable battery lasts a long time.

It’s simple, laggy and nowhere near the Note 8's league. There's also no NFC for mobile payments.

If you're craving a phone with a stylus, the LG Stylo 3 is your only cheap option. Just don't expect high-end features.

LG Stylo 3

The LG Stylo 3 is an affordable phablet for Boost Mobile users with solid performance and a useful built-in stylus.

Review: LG Stylo 3 for Boost Mobile

LG's third-generation Stylo for Boost Mobile includes a large screen, stylus, big battery, and advanced software. This mid-range Android handset delivers an uneven experience, but there's middle ground to appreciate. Here is PhoneScoop's in-depth review.

LG's Stylo 3 is a decent mid-range handset. The phone is a bit boring to behold and yet it still manages to stand out thanks to the large footprint and stylus. You'll find average-quality materials and appointments on the Stylo 3. The big display has a...
