LG Thrive (AT&T)

The LG Thrive offers a surprising amount of power for a prepaid smartphone, and it's on one of America's biggest networks to boot.

Good mix of features and power for the price. Prepaid AT&T plans can offer added value.

Prepaid fees can add up, particularly when it comes to data.

GoPhone Prepaid Packages and Conclusions The devices themselves are virtually identical, but the pricing plans are quite different. The LG Thrive is part of AT&T's GoPhone line, which lets customers choose from a variety of voice and data packages...

LG Thrive (AT&T) review

If you're experiencing a bit of deja vu right now, don't fret. The LG Thrive does look exactly like the LG Phoenix --they're actually the same phone, except that the LG Phoenix is available paid from AT&T , while the Thrive is strictly a prepaid...

The LG Thrive is a slim and attractive Android 2.2 smartphone with Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, quad-band support, and a 3.2-megapixel camera.

The LG Thrive can't play Flash video in the browser, preloaded AT&T apps are not removable, and it does not have mobile hot-spot or data tethering capabilities. AT&T coverage can be a little spotty, and the GoPhone data plan is a little limiting.

The LG Thrive is a decent entry-level Android smartphone for the prepaid crowd, but its limited data plan encourages us to look elsewhere.

AT&T's first prepaid Android smartphone is simple to use and reliable

Easy user interface, world phone, long battery life, small and lightweight

Lack of a dedicated camera button, weak camera, unable to play Flash videos in browser, built-in AT&T apps are not removable

LG Thrive Reviewed

The LG Thrive is AT&T's version of the LG Optimus One, which has made quite an impact across all the U.S. carriers. The Thrive is also the first smartphone to be released on AT&T's Go prepaid plan, once again, aiming at the entry level market. Will it...

The phone comes with a 600 MHz ARM 11 processor, which is decent for the entry level market. Its main competitors, ironically enough are within its own family tree of LG Optimus smartphones, all of which have 600 MHz processors. The LG Thrive, like its...

Love my LG Thrive!

I Love my Thrive! Its my very first smartphone so it took some time to get used to it But i would definetly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a decent cheap phone with no contract. :)

On-screen space bar sometimes sticks (easy fix but still annoying) Turned its self off, but only once, which is way better than my previous phone (A T-Mobile Samsung SGH-T369) Camera Quality is lame
