LG's 2017 do-it-all phone takes yet another victory lap

Improved camera performance ; Fast Snapdragon 845 and 6GB of RAM ; Works with Google’s Project Fi

Not available outside of the US ; Same phone design for the third time

For first-time buyers, the V35 ThinQ looks to be a sizeable improvement on one of LG’s best phones. But it may not stack up against the coming onslaught in late 2018.

LG V35 ThinQ review: A worthy Galaxy S9 Plus competitor doesn't quite get there

As LG's highest-end phone, the V35 ThinQ has a gorgeous display, water resistance and a headphone jack. But it can't quite catch the S9 Plus.

The super fast LG V35 ThinQ is water resistant, has a headphone jack, a brilliant OLED screen and a long-lasting battery.

The phone is LG's priciest to date and its AI camera features still need work.

The Galaxy S9 Plus just edges out the LG V35 ThinQ and is only $15 more on AT&T. But get the V35 ThinQ over the slower Pixel 2 XL.

LG V35 ThinQ

The LG V35 ThinQ will appeal to anyone looking for a slightly larger take on the G7, but it doesn't represent much of a leap forward from its predecessor, the V30.

Crisp, bright, and notch-free OLED screen. AI-powered rear camera with wide-angle lens.

A little wide to grip comfortably. Not a huge upgrade over the V30.

Bottom Line: The LG V35 ThinQ will appeal to anyone looking for a slightly larger take on the G7, but it doesn't represent much of a leap forward from its predecessor, the V30.
