LG Venice (Boost Mobile)

The LG Venice is a sleek looking Android smartphone that's buggy and can't hold a Wi-Fi connection. If you're a Boost Mobile subscriber, better options abound.

Sleek, lightweight design.

Buggy. Wi-Fi connection dropped out often in our tests.

LG Venice (Boost Mobile) review

Outside its upcoming lineup of high-end phones such as the Nexus 4 and the Optimus G , LG has had a long history of creating decent and reliable, if somewhat unremarkable, midrange handsets.

The LG Venice has a svelte design, a 1GHz CPU that runs swiftly and smoothly, and excellent call quality.

The Venice's audio speaker is harsh and tinny, its camera's auto white balance is inaccurate, and it only runs on 3G.

Boost's LG Venice has respectable midrange specs including a snappy processor and a vivid screen, but if you want 4G data speeds, look elsewhere.

"Large screen, slim body and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean."

Boost Mobile offers six or eight different 3g phones to its customers. NONE of the other Boost phones combine a large 4.3 inch screen, slim body, light weight, and modern Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The Venice is a "best buy" on the Boost...

Large screen. Slim, light body. Excellent Jelly Bean Software.

Less than 2gb of internal storage for apps. Up to 64gb of music and videos can be stored on an SD card, but most apps are "locked" into the 2gb of internal memory.

Nice Phone...

The phone is nice. Downloads and Apps run smooth. I've always had a phone that run on the 3G network so it works as expected. The only downfall is that the phone feels flimy/fragile. I just ordered a case. I would recommend ordering a case when you...
