LG Versa Review

The LG Versa is a solid, if not awe-inspiring option for your smartphone dollar.

LG Versa VX9600 (Verizon Wireless)

With its detachable hardware keyboard, the LG Versa VX9600 transforms itself from an iPhone clone into a full-fledged QWERTY messaging phone.

Unique removable-keyboard design. Responsive touch screen. Fun interface.

Some bugs. Poor music performance. Camera has a long autofocus delay. ; Watch the LG Versa VX9600!

LG Versa (Verizon Wireless) review: LG Versa (Verizon Wireless)

LG Versa (Verizon Wireless)

The LG Versa is an attractive touch-screen handset with an animated user interface, plus it has options for additional modules. The Versa also has a full HTML browser with Flash Lite support, EV-DO, GPS, a 2.0-megapixel camera, and a music player. It...

The LG Versa suffers from a poor Web-browsing experience, and the screen can be sometimes unresponsive in certain applications. There is no Wi-Fi, and Visual Voice Mail has a monthly cost.

If you can live with the clunky Web browser, the LG Versa is a very good touch-screen phone with the added versatility of optional modules.

LG Versa Review

With the plain back plate installed instead of the keyboard, the Versa is similar to many other devices on the market today. It is relatively long and narrow, measuring 4 1/8" by 2"and is right at 0.5" thick

Versatile design with removable QWERTY keyboard ; Good battery life ; Reasonable price

Slightly awkward to use with keyboard attached ; No Microsoft Office apps

Overall the LG Versa is recommended, mainly because it can adapt to your needs at a moment's notice. As long as you understand the potential limitations, the Versa's versatility is exceptional
