Motorola Moto E 4G LTE review

The latest Motorola Moto E doesn't hold a candle to a top-of-the-line superphone. Its chunky plastic shell won't turn heads, and the spec sheet doesn't do much to incite gadget lust. But that's OK if you're looking to save a few bucks; what the Moto E...

The new Motorola Moto E is proof that a cheap phone can be good, too; you're getting reasonable performance, a sharp display and LTE connectivity for $150, unlocked.

Like its predecessor, camera quality disappoints. The processor also occasionally struggles to keep up with more hardware-intensive tasks, like gaming.

The Moto E delivers in enough of the right areas to make it a fantastic option for a tight budget.

Motorola Moto E (Unlocked)

Motorola puts feature phones on notice with the affordable, unlocked Moto E, making a modern Android smartphone experience more accessible than ever.

Great build quality and display for the price. Clean, up-to-date version of Android. Memory card slot.

No LTE. Poor camera. Can be sluggish at times. Low internal storage.

Camera and Conclusions There's a 5-megapixel, rear-facing camera with no flash, but no front-facing camera. Image quality is pretty disappointing. Even in good light, the Moto E produces images that lack clarity and have details that appear smudged and...

The square bit bottom right which takes you straight to a rolling view of recent apps used.

Contacts - My most recent frequently used numbers don't always come up first when I press the telephone icon. Secondly - when I need to quickly note down a telephone number or reference Number there is no one button icon to display a memo app.
