Motorola MOTO Z10

Picking up where the Z8 left off, does the MOTO Z10 impress Sandra?

This is a shame as in general build quality has gone up a notch since the Z8. Significant parts of the casing have a silvery metallic finish that runs to much of the back fascia, the sides, and a bit of trim around the front.

Motorola MOTO Z10 review

Motorola's latest 'kick slider' has one serious flaw

Eye-catching design ; 3.2 megapixel camera ; 16m colour screen ; High storage capacity

Awkward keypad ; No Wi-Fi ; Average music player

Attractive looking but curiously flawed smartphone

Motorola Z10 mobile phone

The new Motorola Z10, successor to the Z8, comes with the tag line "We're all film makers now". But is this phone worth getting excited about? We find out. The Z10 takes on the kick slider form that we saw in the Z8. This somewhat quirky design from...

Quality feel, good camera, good screen, packed with applications, HSDPA, great call quality

Memory shortage, poor headset, menus not always intuitive, seems to want to take you online all the time, no headphone jack

Overall, the Z10 is a great device with a quality feel and a butch look. It won’t cause too much a bulge in pocket but packs in a great range of features. For those who often shoot video out and about, be you a citizen blogger journalist, or teenage...

Motorola Z10 review

Billed as a successor to the hugely popular RAZR V8, the Motorola Z10 couldn't be further apart in looks from its sister.

While we loved the movie making aspect of the Motorola Z10 we can't help but feel it's a gimmick that most smartphone users will tire of easily (not that we're fickle at PCA or anything). Otherwise this is a sleek and feature-rich phone.

Motorola Z10 review

Flagging Motorola is in desperate need of a boost. Can its new multimedia and movie mogul save the day?

We’d have loved a five-megapixel camera but the Z10 is still a top-notch multimedia and video-making smartphone

Motorola - Z10

Motorola's Z10 is a quirky little handset. It follows on from the groundbreaking Z8 in general design. It looks like a slider, and indeed it is a slider, but with a twist. Or rather, with a ...

The novel physical design will appeal to some, but the idea of watching movies - or editing your own - on the small screen seems like bit of a stretch to us.

Motorola Z10 - Part 5 - Camera and Conclusion

Following on from Ewan's first four review parts, listed below, here's the final part - from me, covering camera functions and performance, as well as an overall verdict on the device. Motorola Z10 - Part 4 - Listening to the Music Motorola Z10 -...

Whatever you think of the rest of the Motorola MOTO Z10's specification, user interface and applications, the one point you surely can't criticise is its camera, right? The original Z8 was dubbed (somewhat over-eagerly by Moto PR) a 'multimedia...

Motorola MOTO Z10 review

We review the Motorola MOTO Z10, a kick slider multimedia smartphone packing Symbian UIQ-powered applications and HSDPA high-speed 3G

Symbian UIQ smartphone functionality ; Unsual kick slider design ; Decent 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus ; 3G HSDPA connectivity up to 3.6Mbps ; Solid build quality ; Good selection of multimedia applications

No GPS or Wi-Fi ; No touchscreen technology ; Hefty build ; Control pad action heavy ; Average headphones supplied, with no 3.5mm socket ; Responsiveness could be better

Despite some missing high-end features, Motorola kicks back with its attractive Z10 kick slider multimedia smartphone

Motorola MOTO Z10 review

Motorola is back on the mobile scene with the MOTO Z10 - the handset features the entire Bourne blockbuster movie trilogy and allows you to make your own videos…

The MOTO Z10 excels in all things video, be it the 30fps playback ability or the well catered for editing suite

Both the home screen and the control panel are a little crowded

With a fully functional video-editing suite, the MOTO Z10 will appeal to the filmmakers amongst you. Its heavy build is forgiven for housing an impressive set of features.
