Review: Motorola Q9M

Everyone knows that sequels tend to suck. (Need I remind everyone of the extra-lame choreographed dance scene in Spiderman 3?) So when we checked out...

Internal antenna ensures a slim profile. Booming stereo speaker is versatile enough for music and calls. Editing documents on the go is a cinch. MiniSD card slot promotes speedy operation via extra memory. Bluetooth tethering and file transfer are...

Lack of native Wi-Fi support. 1.3 Megapixels is so 2002. 5 minutes of use has it covered in fingerprints. No Java support. Awkward mic position distorts voice when holding the phone left-handed. Regular multimedia use makes an extended battery option...

Motorola Q9m (Verizon)

Motorola's new Q is a sweet-sounding smartphone with an excellent keyboard.

Excellent phone quality. Top-notch keyboard. Ability to read and edit Microsoft Office documents.

Feels slow. Lackluster camera. No GPS. No cut-and-paste in e-mails.

Motorola Q9m (Verizon Wireless) review: Motorola Q9m (Verizon Wireless)

Motorola Q9m (Verizon Wireless)

The Motorola Q9m boasts an attractive design with an excellent full QWERTY keyboard. The smart phone now runs Windows Mobile 6, has integrated Bluetooth with A2DP support as well as EV-DO, and works with Verizon's V Cast Music Store. It offers clear...

The Q9m's performance can be sluggish at times, and it lacks integrated Wi-Fi. We also wish Motorola had upgraded the camera to a 2-megapixel shooter, and there's no support for V Cast videos at this time. The smart phone is slightly bigger and...

The Motorola Q9m brings some nice design and operating system upgrades as well as a more consumer-focused experience with enhanced multimedia capabilities. However, behind all the sexy packaging, the smart phone still feels underpowered. Business users...

Motorola Q9m

The Motorola Q9m has a lot to offer in a fairly slim and sleek design for a smartphone. In addition to supporting Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6 smartphone OS, which is like having a mini computer in your cell phone, it's geared toward multimedia, with...

Motorola Q9m Review

The Motorola Q9m is currently one of the best SmartPhones available by Verizon. It does everything that is expected of it, and then some. The Multimedia Home Screen is an added bonus that many users will enjoy. The Call Quality and Reception are...

Motorola Q 9m Cell Phone Review - Manufacturer - Reviews - WirelessInfo.com - Cell Phone Reviews and Wireless Plan Ratings

The Motorola Q 9m from Verizon is an average smart phone in many ways, and a below average smart phone in more. This flat, BlackBerry-esque handset doesn't boast much other than what Windows Mobile Standard typically offers. Its camera is bad,...

The Q 9m is a bit of a weird phone. It's like the Joker from Batman, in that it looks like a BlackBerry fell into a Windows Mobile chemical bath and came out as this thing. It doesn't have a very good camera, and it can be incredibly slow at times....

Motorola Q9m Cell Phone Review

The Q 9m is a Windows Mobile Standard smart phone from Verizon. It looks a bit like a traditional BlackBerry: it has a thin, flat, candybar form with a large screen and a QWERTY keyboard. It's a bit bulky, but not especially heavy. It seems like a...

Motorola Q9m

I first glimpsed the successor to the MOTO Q back at CTIA Orlando in April of this year. A Motorola executive seated next to me at a Smartphone Summit panel discussion pulled a pre-production Q9 from his packet and used it to check his email while I...
