Nokia 1650

Want a low price, basic phone but don't want to be stuck with a monochrome screen? This candybar from Nokia could be right up your street.

Nokia - 1650

You shouldn't expect too much from Nokia's 1650. The phone costs a mere £44 SIM-free from Nokia's online store, so it clearly falls into the lower end of any list of phones based on specifications. The ...

This is defiantly not an all singing, all dancing mobile phone, but it offers a few useful services (torch, radio alarm) and small and neat design.

Nokia 1650

Budget handset that boasts an FM radio and a flashlight.

Price, compact and lightweight, FM radio, headset, flashlight, good call quality

Spongy controls, poor viewing angle of display, ring tones could be louder

The Vodafone-exclusive Nokia 1650 fills the void if you’re after a cheap as chips phone for basic calls and text. The spongy controls are a drawback, but the included FM radio and flashlight may come in handy.

Excellent

I have owned this phone for about 3 years. With no problems in this time, I don´t think it owes me much. Clearly it´s not for someone who likes bells and whistles, but for a phone that does everything a phone should, it does the job admirably. Given...

Most important, it´s simple and easy to use. So much so, the manual is almost unnecessary. The screen is easy to read. So far, despite knocks and drops, it has proved unbreakable. The battery charge lasts almost forever. Includes FM radio and penlight....

It´s a phone only - no camera or any other extras (apart from radio). But, for the price, it´s hard to expect much more.
