Nokia 6110 Navigator review

GPS-enabled mobile phones are growing in number but the latest Nokia 6110 Navigator looks to be the slickest and smartest to hit the highway

The 6110 is worthy of a place in the handheld GPS premier league, but its screen is a little too small for behind the wheel navigation

Nokia 6110 Navigator review

Like having a standalone GPS device in your pocket

Built-in GPS and UK mapping supplied ; Full 3G services with HSDPA ; Web browser

Camera quality is fairly standard ; Absence of Wi-Fi ; Headset needs upgrading

The camera is a bit of a disappointment but the ease with which the satnav and phone features co-exist makes the 6110 Navigator well worth recommending for the price

Nokia 6210 Navigator review

The Nokia 6210 Navigator successfully marries mobile phone and navigation functions, but you won’t want to use it instead of a TomTom for regular journeys. Sitting at lights waiting for it to replan a route when you’ve got lost or jabbing at its...

Navigate By Phone : Nokia Navigator, Nokia 6110

Instead of phoning for directions you could use your phone to display the directions via SatNav.

Although it is not the first Nokia phone to be released with GPS facilities, the 6110 model is the first unit to have bestowed the category of "Navigator" as part of its title. The Nokia 6110 comes with Route 66 software in conjunction with Assisted...

Nokia 6110 Navigator

Following the launch of the N95, Nokia has promised a raft of new GPS-loaded sat nav phones. Welcome to the latest.…

The sat nav performance is much more realised than the N95 and is hard to fault

The 6110 isn't geared for quick and easy operation due to the lack of touch-screen and its small display

Nokia 6110 Navigator

The Nokia 6110 Navigator is the first GPS-enabled Nokia mobile to offer real out-of-the box satnav. Not only does it have a built-in GPS aerial, but also inbuilt voice-prompted navigation, and a smartcard with complete UK and Ireland road maps

Camera quality is fairly standard, Absence of Wi-Fi, Headset needs upgrading

nokia 6110 navigator

The 6110 is a good GPS phone. Route 66 software is fine, as is the music player and other media features. The 2 MP camera is OK, and there's no Wi-Fi.

Route 66 voice-guided GPS, 3G and HSDPA, Symbian OS - Series 60

No Wi-Fi, 2 MP Camera, Chunky design, Battery life
