Preview Nokia 6230i

The second improvement, which deserves our attention, is appearance of the second speaker on the right side of the phone. Probably the manufacturer tried to realize stereo sound in the phone. Unfortunately we couldn't listen to stereo sound because...

Nokia 6230i review

Nokia 6230i review: On the top, again

Usually small innovations are hidden behind the small „i“, added to the old models' names. Those at Nokia 6230i are no big either. Nevertheless, they are sufficient to make Nokia 6230i one of the best mobile phones nowadays.

Nokia 6230i is a classical construction telephone of an unobtrusive design. It will be available in a light and a dark version, but more colors will also be possible to get, thanks to the removable covers. We should not expect vivid colors though, for...

Nokia 6230i

Nokia's 6230i is an upgraded version of its classic, unpretentious 6230 with a higher quality screen, 1.3-megapixel camera and Bluetooth.

1.3-megapixel camera. Bluetooth and infrared for wireless connectivity. External card slot for memory expansion. 32MB internal memory, 64MB MMC included. AAC/MP3 player and ring tones. FM radio. Dedicated push-to-talk button. 3GPP/MPEG4 video player.

Must remove battery to access card slot. Display is small compared to others. Fiddly navigation key.

Nokia's 6230i is a significant upgrade to handset that's already proven itself a winner amongst professionals looking for a wide array of features and excellent battery life.

Nokia 6230i

The Nokia 6230i should be available in the second quarter of 2005 for an unsubsidised price of around €350/£240/$430. We strongly suspect that this handset will sellin truly massive numbers when it hits the retail channel.
