Nokia 6280 mobile phone

Nokia is rapidly getting to grips with this 3G malarkey, and this handset is possibly its best third-generation handset yet. The 6280 is a Series 40 mobile, and features an updated version of the popular operating system. It's also a little bit on the...

Good screen, friendly operating system

Chunky, and not everyone likes a slider

A solid phone that looks larger than some of the recent 3G offerings but is still a very decent handset.

Nokia 6280

Nokia's 6280 is a classic 3G slider that has been around for a while. But this popular handset is still a mean performer.…

There's a lot here to encourage you, not least its stunning display, music playing expertise and smart camera

Video calling did falter but if you don't demand this feature, this flaw won't be too much of an inconvenience

Whether or not you subscribe to the 6280's orderly design, its all-round 3G and camera performance is extremely pleasing.

Nokia's sturdy big-screen slider is as close as you can get to a smartphone without stepping up a class

3G ; 2 mega pixel camera ; Solid handset ; Cons ; Low memory

Low memory

An entirely usable 3G handset with a huge range of functions

Nokia 6280 Review

Yes a 5 star slider phone from Nokia, finally they seem to have got the combination just right with the latest series 40 model. We test the 6280 to see if it has the brains to match its good looks or if this model will just slip on by.

Nokia 6280

Not only true worshipers of the brand, but direct rivals of the company cannot keep indifference after its last announcements. The company of Nokia has announced principally new phones of the N-line, corporate E-series, glamour L'Amour phones and some...

A pair of loudspeakers integrated into the 6270 are considerable difference. They provide volumetrical sound. They aren't enables at calls, though work when listening to the radio and music. I won't discuss the stereo quality at such a distance between...

Nokia 6280 3G Phone Review

Nokia threw us a couple of 3G beauties last year: the handsome 6680 and its more souped-up and swanky compadre, the N70. These Symbian-powered candybar handsets managed to expertly combine the virtues of a smartphone with 3G technologies to great effect.

There's a lot here to encourage you, not least its stunning display, music playing expertise and smart camera.

Nokia 6280

3G Phones have long been a hit and miss affair. Unlike their 2.5G counterparts, 3G handsets are generally regarded as big, bulky and slow - amongst ma...

Design, Superb interface, User Friendly, Quality Display, Comfortable keypad and controls, Good list of features

Slider not well built, Issues with Camera quality, Pixilated animated menu icons

A fantastic entry into the 3G market, the 6280 offers a superb user interface, together with an outstanding display. Definitely one of the best 3G handsets available.

Nokia 6280 review: High-class slider

Nokia has created its new 6280 as a substitute for Nokia 6230i. Is this a successful move? Nokia 6280 is literally bulged with functions. On the other hand, it features quite an exotic slide-out construction, which provokes missunderstanding in the end...
