Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism

'Style' over substance? With a multi-faceted finish and a bandana(?) in the box, Nokia's 7900 Crystal Prism hopes to impress.

Nokia 7900 Prism review

Get some fashion kudos with Nokia's stylish handset

Striking design - some will love it ; 3G connectivity ; Slim but solid build ; Good quality music player performance ; 1GB of internal storage

Striking design - some will loathe it ; Awkward keypad ; No expandable memory ; Average 2-megapixel camera ; MicroUSB connector used for headphone connectivity

Some awkward features, but if it's aesthetics that you're more bothered about, this could be the phone for you.

Nokia Prism 7900 mobile phone - First Look

At times Nokia is all about pushing the boundaries of what it can get a phone to do, and at other times it's all about offering users something that looks good. So what's the newly launched Prism? We take a closer look. The Nokia Prism 7900 is a phone...

Design, digital camera, easy to use operating system, design doesn't get in the way of the phones features

Nothing ground breaking, blue strip around the edge doesn't glow or anything

Stuff magazine

With triangular keys and a customisable illuminated keypad, the 7900 Prism is anything but dull. But does it have the allure of the best fashion phones?

The Prism has some novel design touches, but a lack of real star quality and some missing features see it fall short of the fashion phone elite

Nokia 7900 Prism

It's all about style and image. While it's far from unusual to pick a phone for its looks, giving a run-out to a mobile with such a singular style signature as the Nokia 7900 Prism is certainly making one stand-out fashion statement

Striking design - some will love it, 3G connectivity, Slim but solid build, Good quality music player performance, 1GB of internal storage

Striking design - some will loathe it, Awkward keypad impractical for fast texting, number input, No expandable memory, Average 2-megapixel camera, MicroUSB connector used for headphone connectivity

Some awkward features, but if it's aesthetics thet you're more bothered about, this could be the phone for you

Nokia 7900 Prism Review

The Nokia 7900 Prism shares some design traits with its sibling but is very much the big brother of the Prism range.…

More than the 7500, the 7900 has a stylish and discreet design that looks impressive and feels good to the touch.

There's no way to expand the memory beyond the (decent) 1GB supplied, and there's no FM radio.

The slim and handsome 7900 is the more effective of the two Prism phones. It fits the hand well and has the exceptional ease of use common to Nokia phones.

nokia 7900 prism

The Nokia 7900 Prism is a well-built, stylish phone with a unique design. Average in the features department. A more expensive version of the Nokia 7500 Prism, the 7900 has an aluminium back cover, 3G and is quad-band. It's also 18 g heavier than the...

Thin, 3G, 1 GB phone memory, Build quality

No memory card slot, No video calling, No FM radio

Nokia 7900 Prism Review by 3G.co.uk Nokia Prism 7900

The Nokia Prism is probably unlike any other phone you've seen. Its been designed to please the fashion conscious. Has Nokia come up trumps in Prism land ?

Trend setting unique design and a good all round performer for a fashion phone.

No video calling or memory card slot yet Nokia has offered 1GB of internal memory which should be fine considering this is aimed at fashion conscious users.

The land of prisms. You will either LOVE or HATE Nokia's take on the Prism. We strongly suspect more will love it than hate it
