Nokia E6 review

IS the E6 the re-invention of Nokia for business QWERTY smartphones?

Premium chassis ; Super-crisp screen ; Luxury feel

Close together keys ; Outdated OS ; Too average

The Nokia E6 is a decent Symbian phone that doesn't break the bank at £300-odd SIM free - it's just that the Symbian OS still needs a lot of work to make it industry leading (and it doesn't look like Nokia is going to put the effort in to get it...

Nokia E6 review

The new phone benefits from touchscreen and Symbian Anna, but is it the business?

Touchscreen and physical QWERTY keyboard ; Free Maps and sat nav with info ; Good 8MP camera ; Much faster web browser than previous Symbian^3 phones ; High build quality

Small screen ; No FM transmitter ; Disjointed messaging methods ; No dedicated Camera button ; Dictaphone/Voice Command button only works on long press

The Nokia E6 follows on from its E-Series QWERTY predecessors such as 2010's Nokia E5, providing the best E-Series camera yet, touch screen navigation and the home screen capabilities of the Symbian^3 platform.

Nokia E6-00 review

While the E6 is well-built and has plenty of features, the Symbian operating system is a pain to use and won't be supported for much longer, so it's one to avoid

Nokia E6 Review

Nokia may be ditching its Symbian mobile phone operating system and switching to Windows Phone 7 for future, high-end smartphones, but the struggling Finnish company remains intent on pushing Symbian smartphones. The business-orientated E6 smartphone...

The Nokia E6 is an impressively built smartphone with a great keyboard and a very good camera. Unfortunately, it's much of the same story for Nokia -- it has produced another piece of excellent hardware that is ultimately held back by the unintuitive...

Review: Nokia E6 long term review and E72 comparison

The Nokia E6–00 is currently the only candybar QWERTY device in the latest Symbian line up. Picking up where the E72 left off, the E6 adds a touchscreen and high pixel density display. The E72, just like the E71 before it, was a big hit among Eseries...

There we have it. In balance, the E6 is an improvement over the E72, and unless you have specific battery or camera needs, then it is a worthwhile upgrade from previous candybar QWERTY phones. However, if you’re used to large touchscreens, it could...

Nokia E6

We ride the latest smartphone stallion emanating from Nokia's stable, hoping that its Symbian Anna saddle will ensure a smoother OS ride.

Battery life, good display, great camera, compact design, touch-and-type based interaction and lots of accessories available with the smartphone.

Symbian Anna not quite on par with iOS and Android and processor also nowhere near best in class.

Nokia E6 Review

I have heard this smartphone is called a “BlackBerry” killer, and taking into account all the facts I can say it really is. Of course, you can guess I am speaking about the Nokia E6 — the worthy successor of the Nokia E5 with improved features....

Stylish design ; Sharp display ; Physical QWERTY keyboard ; Cheap price tag ; Symbian Anna

Lack of auto-focus ; Small RAM ; Processor

So what can we say about this handset… It is almost lonely in its type because other handsets are either expensive or sport weaker features. Not in vain geeks called it “BlackBerry killer,” and taking into account the fact it is launched in the U.S.,...
