Nokia N93i review

Nokia gives us a glimpse of its future

TV-quality camcorder ; 3-megapixel AF camera with real zoom ; Wi-Fi operation

Large size ; Heavyweight design ; No typewriter-style keyboard

It's very clever indeed but its size and weight will be a big turn-off for some

Nokia N93i mobile phone - FIRST LOOK

Nokia has updated its camcorder-focused mobile phone with a new N93i version. Pocket-lint was given the chance to have a play with the new mobile phone at CES 2007. While some praised the Nokia N93 we weren't so keen: it was bulky, unslightly and...

3 megapixel camera, design means you hold it like a camcorder, Wi-Fi, 3G

Still large, casing is easily smugged

Nokia N93i

Around about the same time as the world's first citizen journalists were finding an audience, Nokia launched a mobile phone that fully embraced pocket videomaking: the N93

Futuristic looks, Easy to use, Great video for a phone!

Poor low-light performance, Improvements are mainly cosmetic

This is still a fantastic camcorder considering it's a phone first and foremost, but we'd like to see improvements focused less on looks and more on performance

When some companies say they have a vision of the future, you can't help but raise your eye with suspicion. But when the manufacturer in question is Nokia, you would be foolish not to take notice

Nokia N93i camera phone

The Nokia N93i isn't quite sure if it's a phone, a camcorder, or something in between.

Nokia N93i Review - Video Funny

The Nokia N93i may claim to be a camcorder but we find out it's more of a webcam. Then Nokias new brick surprises us with being a rather good camera phone and having WiFi, a real mixed bag.

Nokia N93i

Is the N93i simply the 'N93 v2' or something different? Steve Litchfield investigates...

I should stress right at the outset that the Nokia N93i isn't strictly an upgrade to the N93. The N93i is an evolution of the original design, to be sure, and the main point is that it's much slimmer and more visually appealing, thus attracting people...

Nokia N93i

Despite all the hype around Nokia N93, its users are techi guys alone, and moreover the sale rates are quite moderate. The problem was that an unsophisticated consumer is not yet ready to drag along a bulky device with him, even though it has Nokia...

In pursuit of smaller size they had to shave off some of the handset's battery life along with œspare centimeters the N93i carries onboard a 950 mAh Li-Ion battery (BL-5F), while its counterpart, Nokia N93 made use of the BP-6M capacious of 1100 mAh....

Nokia N93i 3G Phone Review

Well we have just finished reviewing the Nokia N95 and then the N93i lands on me desk. Cor blimey, surely they can't be designed by the same Nokia design team ? They look as if they have come from different time zones. I suppose they have considering...

Video capability is tops, srceen is big and clear.

Subdued battery life, flash is underpowered, size is an issue

Nokia's trailblazer needs to be taken up a notch to become a genuine camcorder challenger
