Nokia X2 review

The Nokia X2 is a good, cheap entry-level phone, but does it offer enough to satisfy?

Great battery life ; Brilliant for music ; High volume loudspeaker ; FM Radio ; Affordable storage upgrades

Poor keys and hardware navigation ; Low quality camera ; Out of date OS ; No 3G or Wi-Fi ; No GPS

Overview, design and feel The Nokia X2 is an entry-level handset with plenty of features and a penchant for music playback. It sits somewhere between the Nokia C1-01 and the Nokia X3 Touch and Type in both functionality and price.

"A 5-megapixel camera, dedicated music keys and an old-school mobile design make up the Nokia X2."

Nokia has second go at Android with dual-SIM X2, but still no Google Play

The 4.3-inch X2 is Nokia's second crack at an Android phone, but Android fans won't find it very familiar.

Nokia X2 review -

Good battery life, easy accessibility and simple menus

No 3G or advanced features limit its usefulness

Nokia X2 Review

While the X2 looks good, sits well in the hand and offers good music playback facilities, the omission of Wi-Fi and 3G will put off heavy data users

Excellent battery life, simple-to-use menus and very accessible

With no advanced features or 3G the X2 is somewhat limited

While the Nokia X2 is very affordable and looks good, the Symbian S40 operating system is getting a tad outdated and the omission of 3G is a big letdown. Even the most basic handset could benefit from a speedy data connection - however, for the price...

Nokia X2 review

The Nokia X2 is just one of the phones Nokia has released this year. While the recent craze has surrounded smartphones with impressive resumes of all their high-tech capabilities, some of us are wondering – are there any mobiles left that are simple,...

Slim design, QVGA colour display, 5-megapixel camera, video with 4x zoom, quality speakers, access to Ovi Store, menu layout, customizable homescreen

Keypad lock function, slower connectivity, limited social networking

The Nokia X2 is a simple, easy-to-use mobile with a modern design. It has the standard abilities for calls, messages, games, and taking pictures with a 5-megapixel camera. The quality of the pictures is good, but somewhat hard to see on the 2.2-inch...

Nokia X2 review: Fun times two

When you're shopping on a budget, getting the most bang for your buck is what counts. And the Nokia X2 is keen to give you an exchange rate that's hard to beat. This no-nonsense bar delivers a 5MP camera with flash, great audio with stereo speakers,...

Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support ; 2.2" 262K-color QVGA display ; 5 megapixel enhanced fixed-focus camera with LED flash ; QVGA video recording at 15fps ; Series 40 UI, 6th edition ; Dedicated Facebook app ; Bluetooth (with A2DP) ; Standard microUSB...

No 3G ; No GPS receiver ; No WLAN ; S40 is outdated and lacks multitasking ; No document viewer ; No smart dialing ; Below par still and video camera ; Wobbly microUSB port
