Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type

The Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type is an easy intro to the world of touchscreen phones

Good keypad ; Strong connectivity ; Slim-bodied

No GPS ; Poor app support ; Resistive touchscreen

On top of the phone there are 3.5mm headphone, micro USB and proprietary Nokia charging ports. The X3-02 can be charged over USB as well as the Nokia jack, but charging is slower than with Nokia's adapter, which we suppose is of import to some people...

Nokia X3 Touch and Type review

Nokia brings back touchscreen Symbian S40 again, but is Android too far ahead?

Long battery life ; Good camera ; Small and light ; Good build ; Wi-Fi

Strange keyboard layout ; S40 feels old hat and out of touch ; Screen is too small for quality web browsing ; Much touted music features don't blow us away ; Video streaming jerky

The Nokia X3 Touch and Type is one for Nokia fans and those who fear the freedom Android offers.

Nokia X3 Touch and Type review

Nokia offers its very first combination touchscreen/keypad phone – the perfect blend or a muddled mess?

The dual touchscreen/keypad interface is a little clunky but there is still plenty to admire about this new candybar design

Nokia X3 Touch and Type review

The Nokia X3 Touch and Type has a sleek, brushed aluminium finish and is available in five colours (white silver, dark metal, lilac and pink). It is also one of the thinnest Nokia phones ever at just 9.6mm. It weighs a mere 78g.

The Nokia X3 Touch and Type is a feature-rich entry level phone with a very nice design. It sports a 5Mp camera and offers a plethora of connectivity options. It is an attractive option for those who need a stylish and affordable phone that does not...

Nokia X3 Touch and Type

Nokia's X3 Touch and Type offers the company's first blend of touchscreen and numeric keypad within the same chassis. The most striking aspect of the design is Nokia's integration of a dual – and supposedly complementary – interface: a touchscreen...

The built-in camera lacks a flash and, despite the noise-reduction feature, does suffer from noise in low-light conditions but it is rated at 5MP.

Nokia X3 Touch and Type

Nokia ditches convention with its X3 Touch and Type phone, offering dual input via its keypad and touch-enabled display and many high-end features on an entry-level device.

Unusual but user-friendly interface, practical shortcuts, good sound levels and -quality from the phone's speaker, good functionality for its pricepoint.

Camera isnt the best despite possessing a good resolution, glare in direct sunlight on screen.

If you're in the market for a cheap touchscreen phone, the Nokia X3 Touch and Type is worth a look. Unlike most compact touchscreen handsets, the small screen doesn't hinder usability, as there's also a proper keypad for entering text. Overall, a neat,...

Nokia X3 Touch and Type review

The Nokia X3 Touch and Type is Espoo's latest handset to hit the bargain basement end of its phone line up, while it tries to restore its smartphone credentials with the Nokia N8. For the most part, we've seen this sort of low power Symbian S40 phone...

Proper keyboard, touchscreen ease of use, small and lightweight

Keyboard takes some getting used to

A great entry-level handset, but the Nokia C5 is still king of cheap candybars
