This Chinese-manufactured rugged phone is a mixed bag

Big battery ; Easy to read screen ; IP68 hardened

Limited mobile frequencies ; Poor low light photography ; Heavy

A robust and highly functional Android phone that is undermined by its inability to access US mobile phone carriers and its excessive weight. However, it does deliver a decent screen and excellent battery life.

Power bank with a display. The Oukitel WP2 combines the two favorite aspects of Chinese smartphones: a robust presentation and huge batteries. But can the rest of the equipment keep up as well?

robust ; large display ; high resolution ; very good GPS/GLONASS ; sufficient storage ; water-proof according to IP68

unsuitable battery life ; weak system performance ; thick and heavy ; bad audio quality ; mediocre camera ; speaker does not turn itself off when using the headset

During the course of this test, we saw that the flippantly written introductory headline of this test was not so wrong after all. In some ways, the Oukitel WP2 really is a power bank with a few smartphone functions. This should not be taken the wrong...
