Palm Treo 750 review

Does design compensate for old technology?

Solid build quality ; Impressive battery life ; Great phone

Old technology ; Heavy ; A bit pricey on what it delivers

Overall a solid performer with some great features but the lack of new technology and flair let it down substantially

Microsoft wants Windows everywhere. This is the latest Palm device to follow the Windows Mobile 5 route after Palm's 2005 announcement that it was going to test the water and move away from the Palm OS

Palm Treo 750v Windows smartphone

This is a very usable phone, that should do well for Palm. It makes a good showing of Microsoft's push email, and handles texts well, so could be a good option for the really connected.

Palm Treo 750

A long awaited upgrade to the Palm [[prodid:3013]], the Treo 750 adds HSDPA capabilities and is also the first Palm device to run the Windows Mobile 5...

HSDPA capable, great design, Palm improvements to Windows Mobile OS are very positive

No Wi-Fi, 2.5mm headphone jack, no included miniSD card, proprietary charger and USB connection, cramped keyboard

Despite the cramped keypad and a slower processor than some of the competition, the HSDPA capable Treo 750 is one of the better Windows Mobile 5 smart phones we've reviewed.

Palm delays US Treo 750 into oblivion

Clamoring to get your hands on a Treo 750 here in the States? Does the very thought of a HSDPA, stub antenna-free, Windows Mobile-equipped slice of Palm goodness leave you dizzy with desire? Well, get ready to wait. And wait. And, oh yeah, then wait a...

Palm Treo 750 (GSM, Bluetooth, 1.3MP, 128MB, miniSD)

Don't let the sleek design of Palm's new Treo 750 fool you: This is a serious business device. The Windows Mobile-based phone, available for $500 with a two-year contract from AT&T's Cingular Wireless unit, includes mobile Office applications, world...

Impressive software selection ; Camera takes great snapshots

Lacks Wi-Fi or HSDPA support ; Talk-time battery life is poor

The Treo 750 offers an appealing design and impressive software selection, but its talk-time battery life is poor.

Palm Treo 750 - black (AT&T) review

Palm Treo 750 - black (AT&T)

The Palm Treo 750 sports a more compact design and comes with integrated Bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and world phone capabilities. The Windows-based smart phone also works on Cingular's 3G UMTS network and has push e-mail and the new threaded...

The Treo 750 will not support Cingular's HSPDA network at launch and doesn't have integrated Wi-Fi. It also has a low-resolution screen and failed to meet the rated battery talk time.

The Palm Treo 750 includes some nice enhancements and offers good usability, but you can get more for your money with the Cingular 8525.

Palm Treo 750

Cingular's Treo 750 is easy to use, but it can't break out from a very competitive pack.

Excellent call quality. Easy to use for a Windows Mobile handheld.

Low-res, cramped screen. Expensive and chubby for its feature set.

Palm Treo 750

It may be a trifle sluggish, but the Treo 750 offers a host of unique features all the same.

The usual assortment of features have been thrown in — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, even a Picsel PDF viewer. I shan't dwell too long on the media aspect. It uses Windows Media Player for music and is just average. Windows Mobile phones have always been...
