Samsung Evergreen SGH-A667 (AT&T) review

Lest we believe Samsung forgot Mother Earth, here comes the Samsung Evergreen (SGH-A667), a very affordable AT&T messaging phone with a list of lower-impact eco-credentials. The hardware is built from 70 percent recycled post-consumer materials, and...

The Samsung Evergreen has a responsive QWERTY keyboard and a unique convenience key for opening onscreen features.

Call quality could be improved.

An eco-friendly texting phone, the midrange Samsung Evergreen is comfortable and easy to use, although its mediocre call quality and plastic backing cheapen the feel.

There aren't any i can think of

OOOOOOOOO I CAN LIST A MILLION THINGS BUT IT GOONA TAKE 12345657 PAGES, it shuts off randomly freezes every second, not even a dog would want this to chew on, probably would choke on the stupidity alone.

Was the worst phon, now a great phone.

I hope this helps all my fellow Evergreen owners because this has worked for me. You need a software update. I, too, had all the common problems with this phone -frequent reboots, dropped calls, dropped messages, etc. Sometime last spring I went into...

Really like the QWERTY keyboard. Battery life is very good.

I spent several months cursing the phone daily until I fixed the problem.

Terrible phone!!!

No one at the ATT stores or online help know what to do with the issues this phone has. I found someone yesterday at ATT store that had a code from Samsung, we tried it, but phone has cut off twice already today. Very unreliable, surely hope I do not...

the qwerty keyboard is nice and that is about it.

This phone shuts off at random times.Very frustrating when you are in the middle of a call or expecting a call only to find out the phone had mysteriously powered itself off once again.

"It makes calls."

I've owned this phone for about two years and have no large complaints. Don't expect this phone to perform like a Samsung Galaxy S, which you shouldn't for the price. Used every day and just keeps working. Typical Samsung product quality, though I'm on...

Cheap as a pay as you go phone

Call quality could be better when not using a headset

Cheap as a pay as you go phone Slide out keyboard works well even with large clumsy hands Acts as an okay media player with a microSD card and headset

Call quality could be better when not using a headset OS sometimes takes a long time to load (random)

Horrible phone (we bought three of the stupid things)

The phones DO NOT WORK properly, or sometimes at all. We got three of them a little over 14 months ago. Two of them we returned 3-4 times each to Samsung, and until the last try with my son's phone, they always said nothing was wrong (the last time...

Uses recycled material.

Turn themselves off and on randomly, will not allow you to access your address book, AWFUL customer service from Samsung, completely blow up as soon as they're out of warranty.

A BIG FAIL!

My summary is that it's a piece of crap and dont ever get this phone

Makes a nice sound if you throw in air and hit it with a baseball bat

Shuts off by itself, dials 911 by itself, it freezes all the damn time, i cant text people sometimes, it says that i have reception but i dont. Overall it's a piece of CRAP!

Overall a good phone, but poor call quality

I believe the AT&T Samsung Evergreen is a quality phone because of its useful keyboard for texting, long battery life, low price, and decent appearance; however, the phone has poor calling quality and randomly turns off. As a person who texts a lot but...

Good keyboard for texting Long battery life Cool design Not very expensive

Poor call quality Randomly turns off

"The WORST PHONE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!"

The software updates replacement batteries do absolutely nothing to fix this problem The software updates replacement batteries do absolutely nothing to fix this problem. Since there has been a lack of providing me with a phone that works properly,...

The slide-out keyboard

The constant turning on and off during use is beyond annoying. I refuse to be stuck for another 2 years with this garbage! I don't think the folks at AT&T even have a clue on how to correct this problem.
