Samsung Gusto Review

The Samsung Gusto is a basic phone. It does not contain any fancy bells and whistles that many other prepaid cell phones or smartphones possess. However, it has a long battery life, Bluetooth technology and a web browser that give this device a few...

The Samsung Gusto is compact, easy-to-use and weighs just 3.28 ounces.

This cell phone lacks a music player and video-capturing capabilities.

The Samsung Gusto is a good basic cell phone but it lacks several bells and whistles.

"The worst phone I've ever had..."

I talked to a cell phone development engineer and he said the phone is the issue and not the network or cell booster/amps. It's a "cheap" phone that costs too much and does not perform calling or receiving calls. Material and construction are horrible,...

Battery life

Won't make calls half the time even with 2 to 3 bars showing. Verizon replaced the original phone for the same problem and the replacement phone is just as bad. When near a cell booster, the phone returns error and drops the call.

Cheap, inconsistent reception, alarm doesn't work.

Be very careful what you are buying, check it out first on the internet. Find out what the store policies are. When you have to pay more for a return than the product costs in the first place something is very WRONG!!! And Verizon has not disappointed...

Cheap $19.99 at the Verizon store. Verizon after having it for 2 days taking them back, Verizon wanted to charge a $35 restocking fee per phone.

Everything. The phone quality is sorely lacking and how Samsung could even dream up a MSRP of $199.99 for this piece of junk is incredible. The phone has a mind of it's own and does things without pushing buttons.

Only ONE OK Thing about this phone...

I pretty much agree with most of the reviews I've read... This phone is JUNK... The one, and only good thing about this phone is the Battery life, instead of the standard battery, I bought an extended battery... The internet on this phone is USELESS,...

The battery life... I bought an Extended battery...

Everything else..

Samsung Gusto (Verizon Wireless)

Irritated by wireless heat sensing phones providing erratic messages and wasting time, I finally purchased the Gusto and love it. I have a large hand but find the keys to be easily accessible, the common sense commands to be straightforward and user...
