Samsung Highnote SPH-M630

Sprint's Samsung Highnote doesn't excel with music, but it offers some interesting features for drivers.

Large, powerful speakerphone. Several helpful features for driving including GPS. Fun home-screen interface.

Dismal music software. Poor Web browser. Choppy streaming music quality.

Samsung HighNote on Sprint SlashGear Review

Sprint recently announced the Samsung HighNote, and we've certainly been surprised at what this phone has to offer. The HighNote is a music-based phone just as the name implies. It appears to be a hybrid of the LG Chocolate and the Samsung Juke, but it...

Samsung Highnote Review

Good all around multimedia phone, Solid construction and good size, Built in speakers performed well

Wheel navigation can be clumsy, A bit too expensive for what it is

We like the Highnote, but don’t see it doing particularly well.  At $100 it’s well worth your extra $30 to move up to the Instinct , and with the $50 Rant offering basically the same features with a QWERTY keyboard we see the Highnote kind of sitting...

Samsung Highnote for Sprint - Phone Reviews by Mobile Tech Review

As you might guess from the name, the Samsung Highnote is a music phone, and it's available on Sprint. The Highnote has a slide-out speaker, 3.5mm stereo headset jack and a touch-sensitive control wheel for music playback along with all the services...

Effective double slider design and good music features such as the 3.5mm audio jack, slide-out stereo speakers and included music accessories such as wired stereo headset and 1GB microSD card for storing music ;

Weak performance on Sprint TV and GPS with Sprint Navigation. Battery life is a bit too short

A phone with huge potential to become a great music phone, the Samsung Highnote needs some work to get there. While most of the music, multimedia and GPS features are onboard, their performance left something to be desired. If you’re just looking for a...

Review: Samsung Highnote

The Samsung HighNote packages a high-end feature set and solid music capabilities in a less-than slick slider. Learn what makes it click.
