Samsung Restore SPH-M570 (Sprint)

The Samsung Restore is a well-constructed, powerful messaging phone, though several design flaws get in the way.

Attractive design. Comfortable keyboard. Clear voice calls. Loud speakerphone. Plenty of green cred.

Poor reception. Hard-to-use trackpad. MicroSD card slot is underneath the battery cover. Balky, poor-sounding music player app.

Apps, Multimedia, and Conclusions The Access NetFront 3.5.1 browser served up decent WAP pages, complete with ".com" and other useful shortcut keys, but desktop HTML was a disaster; replace it with Opera Mini 5 (Free, ), pronto. The Restore works with...

Samsung Restore SPH-m570 review

Samsung was one of the first cell phone manufacturers to jump on the eco-friendly bandwagon with the Samsung Blue Earth , which has solar panels on its back, and the Samsung Reclaim , which is partially made out of recycled materials. The Samsung...

The Samsung Restore is made out of recyclable materials, has a solid slider design, and includes features such as a 2.0-megapixel camera, a music player, a 3.5mm headset jack, and EV-DO Rev. 0.

The Samsung Restore's camera doesn't take very good pictures and its call quality needs to be improved.

The Samsung Restore is a great eco-friendly option if you want a full-featured multimedia messaging phone on Sprint.

Review: Samsung M570 Restore

Samsung recycles its attempt at bringing a recycled (and recyclable) phone to Sprint. Does the Restore restore our faith in Samsung? Find out if this sideways slider really has us seeing green.

Consumer review (cnet.com)

does it always work????

buyer beware. Those commercials you might have seen promising such AWESOME service are like a fairy tale (nightmare_)

cheap monthly top up amount

EVERYTHING! Loss of signal, dropped calls, lousy customer service, phone shuts off on it's own at times. Picture messages do not always go thru but you get deducted for them.
