Samsung Rant

Messaging fans on Sprint will go for this sweet, affordable slider, which has a full QWERTY keyboard.

Roomy, comfortable QWERTY keyboard. Includes 3G, GPS, and Bluetooth radios. Offers support for corporate e-mail accounts. Sprint's easy-to-use One Click interface gives quick access to favorite apps.

Poor Web browsing experience. Slightly awkward control pad design. Music player and camera could use improvement.

Samsung Rant Review

The LG Rumor has been a wildly popular phone for Sprint, and when we reviewed it last year we liked what we saw overall. However, it had some glaring omissions and was rightfully pigeonholed as a teenager's phone. Unlike its V-themed big brothers on...

Samsung Rant Cell Phone

If your cell phone's lack of features makes you want to rant, then maybe you should check out the Samsung Rant. Designed with text messages in mind, this amazingly inexpensive phone could keep your fingers busy for a long time without hurting your...

In summary, the Samsung Rant is an incredible smart phone. Not only is it cheap, but it is also offers a myriad of features that are often neglected on some of the most expensive cell phones. Sure, it doesn't have a touch screen, but for many users...

Samsung Rant - Phone Reviews by Mobile Tech Review

Even with all the hype about multimedia features on mobile phones this year, users and cell phone carriers know that texting is still the heavy hitter in our daily lives. This is why, during this holiday season, we're seeing a barrage of texting phones...

Sturdy build with a great QWERTY keyboard. Full set of multimedia features and a good camera. GPS has strong performance ;

The phone needs a little bit of work in several areas

You might not take the phone’s name seriously, but the Samsung Rant offers strong text-centric features with beefy multimedia muscle. The QWERTY keyboard is good and the GPS, Sprint TV and music are all there. The phone has some stability-related...

Samsung Rant Black

If you like to keep touch on the go, the Rant has got you covered. It's a messaging monster that's easy to use. It supports Sprint TV and the Sprint Music Store, and does surprisingly well in the multimedia department, for a messaging phone. A camera...

It's a godsend for mobile text/IM/email addicts ; slide-out QWERTY is comfortable and requires about 60 seconds of adaptation ; it's Sprint TV and Sprint Music Store capable ; music plays in background ; stereo Bluetooth ; camera with video capture and...

Web browsing is low-priority ; no dedicated music controls ; background noise on Rant end can be problematic ; more SD storage out of the box would be nice

It's tempting to get wrapped up in the myriad features of the latest $800 gadget. But how many of those smart phone functions actually get used beyond a week after purchase? How many of them serve a purpose, to you, other than as a bullet-point on the...

Samsung Rant Black review | PhoneDog

A lot of phones are trying to be everything to everyone at the moment, and it's refreshing to see Samsung approach both the Highnote and Rant with such singular vision. That's not to say that either of these phones are lacking critical functions - just...

Pretty good concept with some minor flaws---good phone!

Sprint and Samsung had a good concept here. They offered a Red/Black and then finally a Purple Samsung Rant cell phone with Sprint cell phone service. I had 2 of the red ones and suffered a ton of glitches, the audio was pixelated, it sounded as if...

Good keyboard and screen, speakers (minus the glitches) Battery

The Samsung Rant is a fun phone with lots of features.
