Samsung Behold (SGH-t919) Review

Behold's touch interface is clever and, combined with all its other capabilities, has a lot of potential.

Samsung Behold SGH-T919 (T-Mobile)

The Samsung Behold is a jack-of-all-trades, with a touch screen and 5-megapixel camera.

Big touch screen with a fun interface. 5-megapixel camera. Syncs easily with PCs.

No individual feature is best in breed. Web browser is very basic and T-Mobile doesn't allow Java apps.

Samsung Behold SGH-T919 review

If you haven't noticed, touch-screen phones are in, and it seems that every carrier and manufacturer is rushing to jump on the bandwagon. AT&T has its Apple iPhone , Verizon Wireless has its LG Dare , Sprint Nextel has its Samsung Instinct , and now...

The Samsung Behold has an attractive design with a responsive touch screen. The feature set offers a range of options and call and photo quality meet the mark. Also, T-Mobile's 3G network is lightning fast.

The Samsung Behold lacks Wi-Fi and its memory card slot is in an inconvenient location. Speakerphone quality was just average and the Web browser wasn't quite up to par.

Though it lacks Wi-Fi, the Samsung Behold is a sleek touch-screen phone with a range of features and an easily understood interface.

Samsung Behold (SGH-T919) Review and Photo Gallery

The Samsung Behold (SGH-T919) is the second 5-megapixel camera phone to be released in the U.S. and it follows the path of the MOTOZINE ZN5 on T-mobile. While 5-megapixel cameras are nothing new to our readers abroad, it has been a long journey for...

Briliant!

My wife and I had been loyal Motorola fans for YEARS but this time when it was time to buy something with a full keyboard for texting and a terrible business experience with the MotoQ - I found myself looking at other brands for our personal needs....

Great battery life for a smart phone. I'm getting 3 days out of it with minor texting, regular calls, etc. It lasts longer than my wife's old Moto Rokr did when it was new and longer than my Moto Pebl did just taking calls.

Camera is very slow. 4-5s for a shot after pressing the button.

I liked it

I really liked this phone when I had it. I took it back because I didn't like the price I paid for it and I didn't like the bill. I decided to wait until a better comes along or my contract ends with t-mobile it which case I'll buy it as a new customer...

TOUCH SCREEN!

Sometime when you flip the phone it takes a while before the keyboard changes. Internet from T-mobile is not worth it on this phone. Unlike the G1, it is not made for websites that have a non-mobile version, so save the 35 bux.

pure gps

Company needs to update gps portion of this nice device

slim design, light weight, easy to type text on screen. I loved voice guiding driving when gps was connected

living in big city need GPS feature. TelNav insalled in Behold is not reliable. Average connection was happend once per 10 tryes. Other time: "weak gps signal, find better view.." Waiting time usually was 4..5 minutes.

Behold Alas!

Very intuitive/user freindly!

The only con is that I will need to pay 25.00 dollars to use the Internet and possibly more to use the GPS which is something I can add down the road... Pardon the pun.
