Sony Ericsson F305 mobile phone – First Look

As speculated across the Internet, the "F" in the new series of Sony Ericsson phones seems to be for fun. With the launch of the F305, SE are looking to bring the fun back to mobiles and the 305 is the first in what should be a growing range. We got...

Additional gaming buttons, motion control, solid keypad

Sony Ericsson F305

The Sony Ericsson F305 is primarily a gaming focused mobile phone. It is a slide design handset with a 2 inch TFT display screen that comes available in a choice of two colours both of which look cool and stylish and it is a cute and compact size and...

Sony Ericsson F305 review

We review the Sony Ericsson F305, a phone which aims to change the image of mobile gaming

Exceptional battery life ; Bluetooth with A2DP ; Expandable memory (M2 card) ; Lightweight

Motion sensor isn't responsive ; Cheap build materials ; Spongy Keypad ; Rudimentary camera ; No 3.5mm earphone jack ; PC cable not included

One look at the F305 tells you everything about what Sony Ericsson was trying to achieve with this phone. Sadly, it doesn't take much longer to realise the company has badly missed the mark.

Sony Ericsson F305

The new Sony Ericsson F305 with Motion Gaming puts fun and entertainment at the heart of the mobile phone. In addition to horizontal gameplay and dedicated gaming controls the F305 lets the user control the action with a swing or a swipe of the phone.

Lots of games included, motion gaming and good battery life.

No 3G, a low quality display and poor camera.

Sony Ericsson F305 mobile phone

The Sony Ericsson F305 is a motion-sensitive mobile phone that has an FM tuner

Looks good, wide variety of games, well-built, expandable memory

Motion sensing is not effective, small number keys are too firm

If you're looking for a mobile phone that you can play a wide variety of games on, then the motion-sensing Sony Ericsson F305 might be for you.

Sony Ericsson F305

SE's first dedicated gaming handset, the F305, is a good mobile phone overall and fares quite well in the gaming department too.

Sony Ericsson F305

It's cute as a button and packed to the gills with games to play. The F305 is a nice phone for its price, but there's nothing ground-breaking here to recommend.

Cute design. Over 60 games included. EyeToy-like motion gaming. Good battery life.

Not 3G compatible. Flat keypad lacks definition. Low-quality display. Camera is poor. No USB cable or software included.

The F305 is a decent mobile phone for the money, and the games are a nice bonus, though certainly not worth buying the phone for. A better camera would have been nice.

Sony Ericsson F305 Review

There are a lot of different ways to waste some time while waiting for a friend or travelling. One of them is by playing games, which is the main purpose of the Sony Ericsson F305. It sports gaming-dedicated keys and stereo speakers, which should turn...
