Sony Ericsson K770i

It's a bit samey, but its decent feature-set and familiar design could be all you want.

Sony Ericsson K770i review

Sleek and stylish, but not the best Sony Ericsson we've come across

Stylish looks ; 3G ; Clever navigation D-pad

Average camera with photo light ; Average media player (non-Walkman) ; Camera lens cover prone to slip ; Can only use Sony Ericsson headphones

Not bad in all respects, but leaves you feeling a bit short changed compared to other Sony Ericsson phones

As well as taking pictures, the Sony Ericsson K770i also features a media player which supports MP3 and AAC audio files. It also includes the Sony Ericsson's Shazam-esque Track ID programme for identifying music tracks, as well as an FM radio tuner....

Sony Ericsson K770i review

Like the K800i, the K770i has Sony Ericsson's Cyber-shot branding and a 3.2-megapixel camera.

Sony Ericsson has puts it latest Cyber-shot on a grueling fast – the K770i is its thinnest camphone yet, but still packs a raft of features

A welcome slimline addition to Sony Ericsson's Cyber-shot mobiles and a capable all-rounder

Sony Ericsson K770i review -

Great all-round features and a really stunning design

The LED flash isn't as good as the Xenon on the K850i Cyber-shot

Sony Ericsson's latest midrange offering is sleek-looking bar-shape handset that fits easily in the pocket thanks to its rounded edges and slim dimensions (just 14mm thick)

Average camera with photo light, Average media player (non-Walkman), Camera lens cover prone to slip, Can only use Sony Ericsson headphones

Sony Ericsson K770i

Should we look at the model's index, it will suggest that the K770i is a junior device relative to the flagship, however not too far aside. Functionality-wise the two are very resembling, being powered by the already-proven platform A100. Unlike the...

The Sony Ericsson K770i is an excellent mid-range phone. On release, it's available at approx. £210 SIM-free, £100+ cheaper than a SIM-free K850i. The K770i is also available for free on contract.
