Sony Ericsson makes two kinds of Walkman handset: touch-screen smartphones such as the W960i (reviewed in What's New, Shopper 246), and normal music handsets. The W890i is the latest in the music handset line, and replaces the W880i.

A stylish, classy exterior with excellent build quality, just 10mm thin and boasting an superior keypad and controls despite its compact size. Add HSDPA support and an excellent user interface to the mix and the W890i is almost perfect.

Overall its a good phone. The features are good it can do more than i need.The walkman is excellent as you would expect from sony.The reception is clear, and through the bluetooth it is the best i have used.

The only things i have rated down slightly is the key pad is a bit too small, and the battery life could be better.
