Sony Ericsson Yendo Preview

With a focus on entertainment, the Sony Ericsson Yendo is the very first Walkman phone with full-touch capability. The 2.6-inch screen is said to be crystal clear, perfect for media playback.Like its cousin,…

Sony Ericsson Yendo Review

"The Sony Ericsson Yendo is the very first Walkman phone with full-touch capability."

As well as media-playback, the Yendo has a social networking app built-in which brings Facebook, Twitter and more together, web browsing and a 2.0-megapixel camera.

Sony Ericsson Yendo W150i

Dimensions of the phone are the following - 93.5 x 52 x 15.5 mm, weight - 81 g. The handset is small and resembles a toy to some extent. This effect was achieved due to the absence of additional buttons. Only the right side is used for a paired volume...

Sony Ericsson Yendo review: A touch of Walkman

It looks like the XPERIA X10 mini but acts like what it is – a full-touch feature phone. This is obviously nothing really to shout about as there are hundreds of them around now. It's a first for Sony Ericsson but that's not what makes it special either.

Ultra compact ; Dual-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support ; Touch-friendly four corner UI ; 2.6" capacitive touchscreen of QVGA resolution ; 2 megapixel fixed-focus camera with video recording ; Standard microUSB port for charging and data ; Stereo Bluetooth ;...

No 3G, Wi-Fi ; Smallish, low-res display ; Sluggish user interface ; Basic music player (for a Walkman phone) ; Disappointing camera ; No file browser ; No multi-tasking ; No accelerometer for auto-screen rotation

Sony Ericsson Yendo Review

A review of the Sony Ericsson Yendo, the first ever touchscreen phone with the Walkman badge attached to it. In the first part of our review we take a look the phone's design and user interface.

The Sony Ericsson Yendo is a difficult phone to review negatively, it's one of those phone that despite its flaws you still would want to own. The body build and functionality is fantastic, so is the call quality and phone book. However, most other...

Sony Ericsson Yendo

The Yendo is fairly compact for a touchscreen phone at 94 x 52 x 16mm, and it weighs a diminutive 81 grams. The small size of the unit is partly down to the relatively small screen - it's just 2.6" in size and 320 x 240 pixels, making it one of the...
