Sony Xperia T

Hands On: Sony's new flagship phone packs in a 13MP camera and is James Bond's next phone of choice.

We're not totally taken with the Sony Xperia T when it comes to design, and it lacks a truly killer standout feature but it seems like a sensibly designed high-end Android phone with easy to use features. So if the price is right it could be a winner.

Slim, powerful and with a smashing display, the Sony Xperia T has it all

Amazing 4.6in display ; Slick styling ; Great 13MP camera

Only Ice Cream Sandwich ; Timescape not great ; Average battery life

Sony Xperia T

A strong all-rounder that makes sense for music and movie lovers

Sharp, detailed screen ; Great video and camera ; Good sound ; Extra Sony content ; Fast

Uninspiring build ; Puzzling design quirks ; Lacks wow factor

There’s a great deal to like about the Sony Xperia T. Notably, the phone’s sound and video performance, the quality of its screen and the speed of its response to commands.

The Sony Xperia T is a solid effort from Sony – it has a decent screen and camera but lacks the excitement we expected from a 'Bond Phone'. Our sample didn’t even include the Bond wallpaper used in the phone’s marketing. In short the handset doesn't...

Sony Xperia T

A powerful smartphone with lots to like, but at current prices it can't quite go head-to-head with the Samsung Galaxy S3

Sony Xperia T review

When the Xperia S turned up it was Sony's sexiest smartphone in a rather long time, so we weren't surprised to hear that the follow up, the Xperia T, will be 007's weapon of choice for receiving M's orders and texting Bond girls in Skyfall this...

Brilliant camera, Feels like a premium device, NFC can be useful

Screen could be brighter, Can sometimes feel a bit sluggish
