Sony Xperia Z3v ( white)

The main differences are battery life and, well, design. There's no way about it: Verizon's Z3v is not as attractive a phone as the standard Z3. In fact, it looks more like the earlier Xperia Z2 .

The Sony Xperia Z3v is a top-notch Android phone that's waterproof for up to 30 minutes, can stream games from a nearby PlayStation 4 via Remote Play, and has expandable storage.

The design is a throwback to earlier Xperia models, and not as slick as the standard Xperia Z3.

Sony's variant on the Xperia Z3 is nearly the same excellent overall phone on Verizon, albeit with a slightly dated external design.

The Xperia Z3v marks Sony's triumphant return to Verizon, offering high-end specs and features without some of the compromises of its smartphone peers.

Attractive, modern design. Waterproof. Refined software with useful tweaks. Qi wireless charging.

On the thick and heavy side. Tons of bloatware.

It's got powerful internals, a 20-megapixel camera, and a version of Android that isn't annoying to look at—hopefully a stint at Verizon will help it reach more users.

Camera can be a bit inconsistent depending on lighting situation

The Xperia Z3v's powerful hardware and neat bundled features are also a perfect example of what Sony is capable of when it takes its time with a product.
