T-Mobile Wing review

We've rarely praised a mobile phone's call quality - until now. The navy-blue T-Mobile Wing sounds terrific - and as this handset is in essence a rebadged version of the much-vaunted HTC Touch, this may be good news for those who crave touchscreen...

For £329, the T-Mobile Wing is a reasonable value, given the phone's versatile functionality, stellar call quality and excellent battery life. We don't yet know how much the iPhone will cost in the UK, but at $499 in the US it is a lot more expensive...

T-Mobile Wing Review

The T-Mobile Wing is a good balance between Sidekick's user friendliness and a Blackberry's raw power.

Review: T-Mobile Wing

Whoever said smartphones are ugly, awkward, sluggish devices? T-Mobile's Wing is trying not to listen. First off, it looks hot. The metallic blue body is...

Rubberized, square keypad lets you type quickly despite being tiny. Wi-Fi and EDGE connectivity ensures Internet access almost anywhere. 2.3-inch wide body fits neatly into purse or pant pocket. Battery lasts for a solid six days

Painfully long delays navigating through menu. Interface sometimes looks messy and disorganized. Touchscreen commands respond slowly when running multiple apps. Stylus location on bottom left not handy for most users

T-Mobile Wing

T-Mobile bunts with a solid but incremental improvement to the MDA that leaves us wanting more power.

Clean design. Good reception. Very bright touch screen. Works over Wi-Fi or EDGE.

Same slow processor as the MDA.

T-Mobile Wing

I'm finicky about call quality. In fact, I've rarely lauded a phone's call quality--until now. In my hands-on experience, the navy-blue T-Mobile Wing ($300 with a two-year contract) sounded terrific. While on calls, I heard virtually none of the...

Touch screen display Roomy, slide-out keyboard

Some buttons are poorly designed Limited integrated storage

For $300, the T-Mobile Wing is a reasonable value, given the phone's versatile functionality, stellar call quality, and excellent battery life. My greatest concerns about the phone involve its limited on-board storage and its poorly constructed...

T-Mobile Wing

The T-Mobile Wing smart phone runs Windows Mobile 6 Professional Edition and has integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. It sports a revamped design with a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, and it offers a 2-megapixel camera and good call quality.

The Wing is on the heavier side and is sometimes sluggish when numerous apps are in use. Without the backing of a 3G network, Web browsing and data speeds are on the slower side when compared with the competition.

With the addition of Windows Mobile 6, the T-Mobile Wing adds a powerful smart phone to the carrier's lineup; however, performance falls a bit short of the competition.

T-Mobile Wing Review

The Wing is a great replacement for the MDA. In a time where slim phones are in, the Wing is a monster in size but it is very comfortable at the same time. If using a stylus bothers you, then there is always the iPhone, HTC Touch, Samsung F700, and LG...

Dieter Bohn over at WMExperts looks like he's had his hands full for the last little while reviewing the T-Mo Wing. I'm going to break it to you slowly here – the reviewer is funny, definitely on point with what a lot of other reviewers have said, and...

The T-Mobile Wing (codenamed T-Mobile Atlas, henceforth just ?Wing?) is another slider from HTC, meaning that it has a standard 240×320 screen, a few buttons beneath it, and a sliding keyboard. It?s a Windows Mobile 6 Professional-edition device,...

Review: T-Mobile Wing

Read on for our full review of the T-Mobile Wing. If you're on T-Mobile, this is your best bet for a PocketPC device, but is it good enough to

Great look and feel, Windows Mobile 6, Nice keyboard, Thinner than the MDA

Processor and Memory, EDGE only

Datawise, both the Wing and the MDA are also the same: EDGE and WiFi. This is also disappointing, but expected, as both are designed for T-Mobile's network. T-Mobile has purchased the necessary bandwidth the move to 3G, but when they actually plan to...

T-Mobile Wing Review

It is one of the first models released with Windows Mobile 6 Professional

What it comes down to is if you're not expecting to do a lot of text entry with your phone, then take a look at some of T-Mobile's other options
