Vivo X60 Pro Plus Review | Trusted Reviews

For its latest flagship, Vivo has partnered with Zeiss to assemble a smartphone camera to take on the likes of Huawei and Apple.

One of the best smartphone camera systems;Fast performance;Bright AMOLED display is great for watching content

One-day battery life;Ridiculous amounts of bloatware pre-installed

Vivo X60 Pro review: A new champion?

A relative newcomer to Europe, can Vivo make a credible name for itself with the arrival of the X60 Pro and its gimbal stabilisation system?

Gimbal stabilisation in video shooting is unrivalled ; Plenty of power and decent fast-refresh display ; Tidy design (and camera bump less intrusive than Pro Plus model) ; Decent main camera ; Software is generally like stock Android

Notifications sometimes (but rarely) fail to display properly ; Specific apps may require background software tinkering ; No waterproofing ; No wireless charging ; Wide-angle camera should be better

Although it's a timely launch for Vivo, given Euro 2020 sponsorship, this isn't a device that only sells itself through the company name being splashed around stadium ad boards, its one that sells itself on sheer ability. The gimabl stabilisation, in...

Vivo X60 Pro+ initial review: Zeiss adds spice

The flagship Vivo device to reap the benefits of a Zeiss partnership, with impressive cameras and gimbal stabilisation. Is it the future camera king?

Gimbal stabilisation in video is unrivalled ; Impressive camera setup ; Heaps of power and fast-refresh display

Camera bump is massive ; Software duplication (Google vs V-app) ; Rear finish just looks like plastic

While Vivo is not a household name in the West just yet might hold some back from investigating this device. But don't let that hold you back, because the cameras arrangement here is simply stunning. Add heaps of power and a fast-refresh screen and...

Vivo X60 Pro review

The Vivo X60 Pro is a capable flagship that plays to its strengths - a thin design and strong camera - by dropping niceties like wireless charging.

Exceptionally thin & light ; Great main camera ; Gimbal-stabilised video

No wireless charging ; No IP rating ; Average ultrawide camera

The X60 Pro is a confident flagship from Vivo that plays to its strengths: a beautiful, lightweight design and strong main camera. You won't get wireless charging, an IP rating, or the absolute top-tier chipset, but for many those will be smart...

Vivo X60 Pro review

Get your gimbal on

Shake-free video recording ; Premium build and gorgeous display ; Punchy performance

Camera stills can’t quite top premium rivals ; Battery life a bit disappointing ; Missing features that could make it a flagship-killer

A very capable upper-mid-tier all-rounder with impressive video skills, but the X60 Pro faces stiff competition at this price. For a brand yet to become a household name in the UK, that’s a tough ask.

Vivo X60 Pro+ Review: Almost a Complete Package

Impressive video stabilisation sets this phone apart from the competition

Beautiful design ; Vivid 120Hz display ; Excellent stabilisation in videos ; Top-notch performance

Lacks IP rating, wireless charging ; No stereo speakers ; Telephoto performance could be better

Vivo x60 Pro Plus review: Putting the phone’s gimbal camera to the test

The Vivo x60 Pro, the phone maker's most fully-featured flagship, brings back a unique miniature camera gimbal that stands out among other hit-and-miss features.

Zeiss-enhanced bokeh and zoom photos ; Gimbal-stabilized video ; Compact, classy design

Small battery ; Irritating software ; Not sold in the U.S

I like how unique those headline features are, in what can feel like a homogenous Android flagship market. However this time, the Vivo x60 Pro Plus can’t break out past its niche appeal.

Vivo X60 Pro Review: A Worthy Successor

Vivo X60 Pro is the successor to the X50 Pro, and it promises better performance and cameras

Sturdy construction ; 120Hz AMOLED display ; Useful gimbal video stabilisation ; Good performance

Lacks IP rating, wireless charging ; Preinstalled bloatware ; No NFC

The Vivo X60 Pro is a good successor to the Vivo X50 Pro, and improves in areas that the latter lacked in. Performance has gotten a good bump thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. Photo and video quality are also better than with the predecessor.
