AG Neovo M-17 review: AG Neovo M-17

AG Neovo M-17

Cool-looking design matches new Macs; sturdy; USB ports built in; moderately priced; six preset viewing modes.

Not very adjustable; image quality varies depending on viewing angle; built-in speakers sound crummy.

Inconsistent performance shouldn't stop Mac users and others concerned with having stylish peripherals from considering this reasonably priced display.

AG Neovo M-17

The USB ports on the front of the AG Neovo M-17 are a nice touch, but the noisy speakers and color-uniformity problems at the top and bottom of the screen make it difficult to recommend.

Eye-catching design ; integrated USB 2.0 hub

Noisy speakers ; relatively large for a 17-inch display

Unlike other AG Neovo displays we've reviewed, this one doesn't have anti-reflective glass covering the display. The M-17 has a translucent, plastic outer case with silver around the screen and an adjustable hinge. Out of the box, and connected via...

YES!

For this price (or most other prices) you can't get much better of a monitor. It lets me get the most out of my 7800GTX and plays my games beautifully. I was extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Great picture, good sound, great price... easy to set up

The plastic frame that the monitor rests on looks kind of cheap at first...but really its a good design that you learn to appreciate

Good Deal

This is a great monitor. Look good and works good. One problem-the usb cable that came with it was bad. No big deal, but kind of frustrating. Wait till they have a rebate. It happens alot. Good monitor for the price. Thanks newegg-great shipping.

AG Neovo M-17 17" 12ms DVI LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 500:1 Built in Speakers

Got it for my wife when there was a $xx rebate. Quality is great. Read a review about purplish edges, but we don't have any problems. There is a very noticable difference in image quality between using a VGA connector and a DVI. To a non-audiophile,...
