Asus MS236H - 23in Ultra-Slim Monitor

Asus looks to impress with this ultra-slim 23in Full HD monitor from the Designo MS series.

Asus MS236H review

We see lots of flat-panels here at PC Advisor. And in all honesty, the majority of them tend to blur in the mind. Most modern flat-panels have fairly good colour, and most have very similar specifications lists.

Compared to a LG Flatron W2353V at less than £170, the Asus may seem a little expensive. But around £200 is still a fair price for a 23in screen. And given the excellent colour and the sumptuous looks of the Asus, we think this remains an excellent...

Asus MS236H review

If you're the kind of person who cares what their computer looks like, the MS236H should pique your interest. Asus' latest monitor is a 23in Full HD model, which is just 16.5mm thick at the edges. It has a glossy black bezel with a similarly reflective...

A great-looking 23in display, but it's let down by annoying touch-sensitive controls and distinctly average image quality.

Asus MS246H review

With a distinctive hollow circular stand that sits behind the monitor, the 24in, Full HD Designo MS246H manages to stick out from the crowd. It also doesn't skimp on too many features.

The ASUS Designo M246H's most distinctive feature is its design, but it still performs admirably when compared with regular LCD monitors of a similar size. The lack of a DVI input and annoying touch-sensitive buttons may cause some frustration.

Asus MS246 review

Asus' eye-catching monitor isn't just super-skinny, it's great value too. Is it the ideal companion for photo editing and hi-def movies?

It may be skinny, but the MS246 is full of fat features and keenly priced to boot

Sadly we feel this screen just doesn’t offer high enough image quality to make it a good purchase for a demanding enthusiast. This is a shame as the design is absolutely stunning.

ASUS MS236H Monitor Review

One of the best TN panels we've used, Good connectivity, Looks flash

Striking a balance when reviewing is always tricky. On the one hand you want to make sure that you've covered all the good and bad points fairly so that the conclusion is just a summation of all that is gone before. However sometimes something is so...

Asus MS236H review

The Asus MS236H is one of the more interesting and stylish monitors we've reviewed.

The most distinctive feature of the Asus MS236H LCD monitor is its gorgeous design. But it is not a great buy despite the acceptable price for the screen size. Buy this monitor only if you are interested above all in the style of the Asus MS236H, and...

Form over function falters

Attractive design, fast response time, low power draw

No height adjustment, only HDMI and D-Sub connectors

manufacturer Asus doesn't just make netbooks, in fact it's been making a wide range of PC components for years, including LCD monitors such as the MS236H.
