Asus PB328Q 32-inch AMVA QHD Monitor Review

Today we're evaluating one of the most accurate and best-performing monitors we've tested: the 32-inch AMVA QHD Asus PB328Q. Let's see how it compares to the tough competition.

Contrast•Black levels•Color-accuracy•Screen uniformity•Calibration not required•Responsive panel•Low input lag•Solid build•OSD joystick•Low price

None

There aren't many displays that do everything this well and cost so little. Users looking for a jumbo screen are unlikely to find a better monitor anywhere right now. With sufficient cred for professionals, gamers and pretty much anyone who uses a...

All of the good, none of the bad.

I became interested in this monitor because of its size, features, and purported quality. After reading Tom's review i felt like it would be a good fit for me. However, a look at user reviews on Hardware sales sites tended to dissuade me from purchase...

Excellent monitor in the price range.

There appears to be some people who've had quality issues with this monitor, I didn't experience any, as I bought a refurb specifically because the QC on refurbs is typically much more stringent than with normal sale items. The monitor was well packed...

Replaced a still working 9 year old then-top of the line Samsung 275T with this display. So far... - Thin and relatively light. - Good stand that clicks securely into place, no screws needed. Good tilt/rotation/height adjustment. - Easy to operate...

- Overdrive and "VividPixel" tech turned on out of box, these appear useless and cause image artifacts and major tracing issues with text scrolling. Needs significant adjustment out of box to get good picture (as most monitors do) - Can only do 75hz...

Good if you don't mind guaranteed dead pixels

I only buy Asus monitors. Always have, probably still will. However I can't recommend this model to anyone. I passed off all the negative remarks people had about this on other sites as dumb luck. Then mine came with 2 dead pixels right out of the box....

Alot of screen real estate. 1440p looks great in games. Stand is heavy duty.

Seems everyone is having dead pixels with this model. Sadly I am too. Input lag could be better. I have serious doubts this is 5ms. Feels like 15-20. Brighter in some areas depending what spot your looking at, but that's just the panel type. Weird dirt...

Great Monitor

I'd buy another in a heartbeat. Best monitor I've had in 20 years. Asus has a winner with this one!

Perfect mid-price-range desktop monitor for a professional! This monitor is now part of a two-monitor, two-computer setup for 3D modelling. It has one of every type of connection, so that I can use the higher rez display port on my model-building box,...

More bad quality control

There are hardly any choices for 1440p in this size. Looks like I'll just have to go back to 27"...

Nice big display. Perfect for 1440p.

Original has a dark blotch in the middle right and the replacement had 4 stuck pixels in a box in the middle bottom. Had a similar nightmare with a BenQ of similar specs. These 32" 1440p panels clearly have a huge quality control issue. Avoid them like...

Great BIG Monitor

I purchased this monitor to connect my MacBook Pro via Belkin Thunderbolt dock (Via HDMI Cable.) I was not disappointed. This monitor is HUGE! This is a must have for anyone that needs desktop real estate space for apps like FCPX, Motion, and all Adobe...
