LG Flatron W2442PA review

LG's 24" screen marries great images with multiple viewing modes

Great images ; Flexible modes

It's not bargain basement, but this monitor offers great images for the money

LG Flatron W2252TQ review

A monitor that looks the business, but fails to provide the goods

Stylish design

Limited viewing angle ; Dull images ; Unjustified price

Don't be fooled by first impressions, this monitor has a long way to go before it meets expectations

LG Flatron L226WTQ review

An amazing monitor to make the most of your high-def games

Excellent contrast ratio ; Rapid response time

Doesn't work well with laptops with a lower resolution

A fantastic screen. For gaming, it's in a league of its own.

LG Flatron L1900R Fantasy Ring review

Bring a bit of style to your home PC

Looks the business ; Good brightness ; High contrast ratio

Quite pricey

It's pretty and potent, but it'll make the rest of your machine look awful if you're not careful

LG Flatron L1960TR review

Hold the front page: there's a new king of high contrast and it's called the Flatron L1960TR, also known as the Black Jewel. Whereas the average PC screen can produce a contrast ratio of approximately 700:1, this £250 beast allegedly separates darks...

High contrast; HDCP-ready; good design.

Non-widescreen; loses some picture detail.

The Black Jewel's super-high contrast ratio and fast response time make it one of the best monitors for movies and games. It also looks great, but it's let down by its lack of widescreen and a slight loss of detail in near-white tones

LG Flatron L1970HR

The LG Flatron monitor better suits the after-hours crowd than the 9-to-5 bunch.

Lightning-fast pixel response. Bright, vivid colors. Great gaming performance.

Weak grayscale performance. Has trouble displaying small text.

LG Flatron 1981Q

Supports pivot mode. Digital and analog inputs.

Supports pivot mode. Digital and analog inputs.

Noticeable backlight bleeding. Weak viewing-angle performance.

The LG Ultra Slim 1981Q is worth considering if you're looking for a 19-inch LCD monitor with portrait–themed rotation capabilities. Its text readability, strong color performance, fast pixel response time and stylish, yet flexible design help to...
