A great 22" LCD screen that has superb blacks for watching movies and a fast 2ms for games. It lacks speakers and a HDMI port but for under £170 it still presents great value for money considering the quality on offer.

Fast response time, serviceable image quality for everyday tasks

For everyday tasks, this Flatron is well-suited. It doesn't produce a perfect image, but it does a serviceable job of displaying images and movies.

Fast pixel response. Good color quality and text readability. HDCP-compliant.

Weak light-grayscale performance. No additional multimedia ports. DVI cable not included.

The LG Flatron L226WTQ-BF delivers a very sharp picture, excellent color quality, and a lightning-fast pixel response, but its handling of light-gray shading is mediocre at best.

A premium quality height-adjustable base,sadly lacking in nearly all new models. Excellent image quality.
