LG UltraWide 29MA73

Allows me to utilize desk space , enough room for this where dual screen would not fit. Games that support the res are much more immersive. Novelty will keep me entertained until 4k monitors become cheaper

Monitor remote controls my LG TV in the same room and no fix available... so much for brand loyalty! Games that don't support the 2550x1080 require some tinkering to look good. Bezels appear tiny but in reality they are hidden behind the first layer of...

Excellent for PC work and XBOX. Love the split screen option and picture in picture.

Freeview TV image is not as sharp as I'd like. I've triad a Samsing TV on the same aerial point and it was clearer but then this was just a tv and not a monitor. Light bleed from bottom corner more that would have expected but ok unless you're doing...

Easy to setup. Excellent image quality and response time.

Please check your graphic card if it support 2580 x 1080 resolution as most of the laptops don't support this resolution meaning you won't get full benefit of high resolution.

Great picture and vivid colours. Super wide and looks great but is no bigger height wise than the 24 inch it replaced. If you need two windows open side by side or watch movies, go for it.

Even at the lowest brightness this is a bright screen. Not that great as a TV as the picture is either stretched or centred. Seems a bit pointless but it was cheaper than the same monitor without the TV so why not.

super sharp PC and HD picture nice wide desktop full resolution by dvi to hdmi cable plenty of adjustments make sure you turn of eco mode to stop picture brightening and fading depending on scene as this will become annoying and adjust sharpness , then...

non HD pictures look very pixelated , now even more bad news you will be hooked and want a bigger screen so start saving

It is so useful when you need several documents/programs up on screen e.g. when you are correcting a document from a commented PDF. I still have my second monitor but the width of this one makes it so easy.

No proper 'off' button, you can set it to standby but to turn it off completely you need to switch it off at the plug.
