NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi

Sometimes a 24in widescreen just isn't big enough. NEC is on hand with the 26in MultiSync LCD2690WUXi.

While gamers will find much to enjoy on the MultiSync LCD2690WUXi the Dell 30in will offer better value. However, for those who are looking to finally replace a much trusted CRT or go properly large for professional use, the NEC is a very fine choice....

NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi2 review

The new ‘squared' version has the same 26in screen and 1920x1200 resolution, but boasts better uniformity of colour across the screen and a wider colour gamut - so with the NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi2 you'll see smoother gradation of shades, especially...

The NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi2 offers fantastic colour reproduction for the price, with detailed fine-tuning controls. It would be a perfect fit for a graphic designer with very high-grade – if not extreme – colour reproduction requirements.

NEC SpectraView 2690 review

Unfortunately the NEC SpectraView 2690 doesn't quite deliver on its promises.

We’d like to be more positive about the NEC SpectraView 2690. While it’s certainly not a bad monitor, the lack of integrated calibration takes away some of the appeal of the Spectraview system. It scores heavily on features, but not quite heavily...

NEC LCD2690WUXi review

On the face of it, £750 for a 25.5in screen seems like a bad deal. But the NEC LCD2690WUXi is a flawless work of art.

Whether you’re a graphics professional or somebody needing to work with fine detail, the NEC LCD2690WUXi is astonishingly good. However, if such quality isn’t essential for your work, then the asking price of £750 is likely to prove too much.

NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi 26in flat-panel monitor

The NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi lacks the extras, style and standout performance we expect from an expensive 26in (25.5in viewable) widescreen.

NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXiSV 26in widescreen flat-panel

The NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXiSV is a 26in widescreen LCD monitor, the largest in NEC's 90 series of professional displays. The NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXiSV includes a bundled colourimeter, a programmable 12bit colour lookup table for smooth colour...

For professional photographers and designers, accurate colour is a necessity. Though this big, bright 26-inch display costs a pretty penny, its colour calibration features - as well as for managing backlight and colour consistency over time - make the...

MultiSync LCD2690WUXi2 review

For a sub £1000 display, the NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi2 is feature-packed and includes everything a designer may require.

Fantastic colour output for the price, detailed fine-tuning controls

No SpectraView software, included tools are Windows-only

NEC’s monitor offers good colour reproduction for the price and would be a perfect fit for a graphic designer with high-grade – but not extreme – colour needs.

NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi2 monitor review

The NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi2 - NEC's latest LCD monitor - is an upgraded version of the popular LCD2690WUXi, and like its predecessor, it's designed as a high-quality display for designers who don't have the need or budget for a £1,000-plus display.

The NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi2 offers fantastic colour reproduction for the price, with detailed fine-tuning controls. It would be a perfect fit for a graphic designer with very high-grade – if not extreme – colour reproduction requirements.
