Samsung 2263DX LCD monitor review

Samsung's 2263DX delivers two monitors in one: a 22in LCD and a secondary 7in display that's handy for expanding your screen real estate.

Samsung's 2263DX is best suited for consumers who need to declutter their desks, or for graphic designers who could use the added screen space for their software tools. Most people would be better off buying two of Samsung's own 20in 205BW monitors for...

Samsung - SyncMaster 2263DX

There seems to be an increasing demand for 22-inch monitors at the moment, with both business and home users demanding that extra width and space for presentations, graphics, movies and games. With this sudden surge in ...

The Samsung SyncMaster 2263DX is an average quality 22-inch monitor with the added bonus of a relatively sharp, repositionable 7-inch monitor attached, which is space-saving and will be useful for multiple operations. The cost, though, may be a deterrent.

Samsung Syncmaster 2263DX

When one screen just isn't enough With lots of 22in monitors available, it can be difficult to choose one over others. Samsung’s Syncmaster 2263DX literally stands out from the rest by including ...

Samsung SyncMaster 2263DX 22in monitor

A very good idea packed into a pretty looking chassis, but lacking the performance and usability we would expect for the price.

Ideally, we'd love to see Samsung sell the UbiSync 7 on its own, allowing people to use it alongside any other display or even as the primary display for systems that only require occasional checking such as a server or demonstration unit. Being sold...

Review: Samsung SyncMaster 2263DX

We all need a little extra screen real estate from time to time. So when widgets, windows and various other digital ephemera start to metastasize,...

It may have two-heads, but the 2263DX is a fine-looking freak. Main screen conceals a pair of powerful, down-firing 1.5-watt speakers as well as a dual microphone array. Touch-sensitive control buttons and intuitive menu system make adjusting...

Limited screen adjustability on the main unit (tilts back but not forward). Web cam quality is atrocious. Pricey. 0 will fetch you two perfectly capable 20-inch LCDs (or a fancy 24-incher) if a bump in screen real estate is your primary objective

Samsung 2263DX LCD Monitor

This 22-inch LCD monitor with an accompanying 7-inch display is innovative, but pricey.

Secondary 7-inch display ; Great design and specifications

Very pricey ; 7-inch display has lag problems

No matter where I positioned the secondary display, however, my PC always seemed to think it was on the right side, making navigation frustrating if I chose to locate the display anywhere else. Though going into Windows' Display Settings menu to update...

Samsung Samsung 2263DX

For $550, Samsung's 2263DX delivers two monitors in one: a 22-inch LCD and a secondary 7-inch display that's handy for expanding your screen real estate. Unfortunately, this added convenience commands a price premium, and the 2263DX is nearly double...

Great design and specifications ; Secondary 7-inch display

7-inch display has lag problems ; Very pricey

Though lots of innovation and style went into Samsung's 2263DX, it's pricey and has lots of room for improvement
