The Cowon X7 is a media player with a big body and even bigger storage.

Huge Storage Capacity, Extensive format support, Superb sound quality

In its X7, Cowon has produced a video player with the ability to rival Apple's finest. It's easy to use, looks good and sounds superb

Great sound from all file types ; easy to use ; bass weight

Screen lacks some detail and resolution

If you want great sound from a large portable library tunes, this X7 will do just the job

When it was announced last year, Cowon's X7 touchscreen media player was set to be an Android device, with all the advantages and support associated with Google's mobile operating system. Unfortunately, the promise of Android never materialised, and...

The X7 isn't as pretty or as glossy as some of its rivals, but if you want a big, good-quality screen, great sound and an unfeasibly massive battery life, this is the media player for you.

Cowon X7 Review

 

The X7 is a bit of a disaster

Plenty of storage space, great audio quality, built-in loudspeaker, Bluetooth wireless headphone support, great audio format support, phenomenal battery life

Thick, bulky design, unimpressive display, no HD video playback, oddly placed controls, unintuitive UI, poor video format support, slow image gallery, proprietary USB cable, low max volume, FAT32 formatting restricts file transfers over 4GB

Whilst the J3 is excellent the memory size doesnt come close. This device has massive battery life, the BEST sound quality and it also supports almost every file type I throw at it.
