This is the closest you'll get to an iPod killer. Its features are well implemented and designed and the end result is a fantastic MP3 player that perhaps just falls short due to the moody controls. A definite winner in our books.

Small, thin and lightweight, User Interface, Drop and Drag music transfer, Battery life

Touchpad has some issues, Screen could be clearer, Lacks some other features (Radio, Recording etc.)

The Samsung Yepp YP-Z5 is part of the opening salvo from the non-Apple high-capacity flash player camp. This is no iPod nano-killer, but it does have some advantages, including better battery life, a bigger screen, and better photo-viewing...

Very good battery life. Large screen. Good photo-viewing features. PlaysForSure-compatible

A bit thick. No on-the-fly playlists. No lossless support. No recording or FM tuner. Not UMS-compliant. Controls could be slightly more precise

The Z5 offers long battery life and good photo-viewing capabilities. It may be the first PlaysForSure-compatible 4GB flash player, but it's still no iPod nano-killer.
