Canon Pixma MP520 review

 

The PIXMA MP520 has a smart-looking chassis with panels that can be opened to reveal its controls, a 2 inch colour display, and memory card slots.

Pay now, save later. Brilliant prints and scans make it a winner.

Canon Pixma MP520

Great print quality; decent print speeds; two input sources; memory card slots and PictBridge port; manual control of photo edits.

PictBridge port doesn't support storage devices; slowish scan speeds; control panel doesn't offer an easy way to transfer images from a memory card to your PC.

The Canon Pixma MP520 doesn't offer all the bells and whistles found on other budget all-in-ones, but it's a solid device that does the basics right while delivering best-in-class quality.

Canon offers a standard one-year warranty for the Pixma MP520. E-mail support is available 24-7 via a Web-based form. Canon's standard online support options include downloadable drivers and software, manuals, and FAQs.

Only used it a little and not to the full extent I copied an article which was easy to use and not havingto use the printer first .Printing out from the computer was easy and up to now a couple of pictures very good and again easy

Nothing really except a little slow when starting printing out and having to wait until you hear it start up[ but thats no problem

User friendly. Intuitive menus.

Scanner cover is fixed so difficult to scan portions of large documents such as maps. Printing initialisation is slow
