Canon PIXMA MP600 All-in-One

Canon proves that all-in-one inkjets can be stylish.

Canon Pixma MP600 all-in-one inkjet printer

The Canon Pixma MP600 is a solid multipurpose device that combines a printer, scanner, and media card reader at a reasonable price. It lacks a built-in fax, making it problematic for office use, and serious photographers will bemoan the fact that it...

The Canon Pixma MP600 is an excellent printer and a solid copier that delivers top-notch print quality at high speeds. If you don't need fax and can live without an automatic document feeder and film scanning, the MP600 is a solid choice for everything...

Canon Pixma MP600

The Canon Pixma MP600 is a large and imposing beast, but it's also stylish and beautifully constructed..

Fast, Image quality, Quiet

Large, Scans too contrasty, Slow copying

If size isn't an issue, the Canon Pixma MP600 is to be recommended. If there is an Achilles' heel, it's plain paper colour printing depth. An MP600R variant is available with integrated wireless networking.

Canon PIXMA MP600R

The box-shaped design of this multifunction device isn't pretty, but its real beauty lies within. The more we used the Pixma MP600R, the more we liked...

Automatic duplex, wireless printing, two paper trays, CD/DVD printing

Wireless networking setup is cumbersome, no 'scan-to' button

It may not look pretty, but underneath its boxy exterior the MP600R has plenty of useful features that make it a great all-round multifunction centre for the home or small office.

Canon Pixma MP600 review

The $200 Canon Pixma MP600 is the mini-me to the gargantuan $300 Pixma MP810 . Its smaller form factor and price have no bearing on the print quality or print speed, though we found this printer to be reasonably fast (lightning fast, even, with photo...

Inexpensive; high quality prints; fast print speeds overall, particularly quick with photo printing.

Scans should be improved; can't use the PictBridge port to connect USB storage devices.

The Canon Pixma MP600 occupies the sweet spot between quality and price. It's one of our favorite photo all-in-ones for home users.

Canon Pixma MP600 Photo All-In-One

Paper handling is one of the MP600's strengths. With built-in duplexing and two 150-sheet paper trays, the printer's 300-sheet total paper capacity is substantial for a home office. Alternatively, the separate paper trays let you keep plain paper in...

Fast. High-quality output. Prints, scans (including scanning to e-mail), and works as a standalone copier

Printing full-page graphics on plain paper tends to make the paper curl

The Canon Pixma MP600 is a three-function all-in-one that combines a fast, high-quality printer and a scanner to offer printing, scanning, and standalone copying.

Canon Pixma MP600

This is a scan and print solution with all-round quality that would be most welcome in any study.

Fast printing. Excellent image quality and sharpness. CD/DVD printing.

Has a little trouble with complex colour borders. Pre-print preparation time after idle period. No automatic document feeder for copying.

Canon PIXMA MP600

The Canon Pixma MP600 all-in-one photo printer features scan and copy functions in addition to quality inkjet printing. Similar offerings from Kodak and HP are slightly more expensive than the MP600's $179 price tag. The MP600 can print from its media...
