Epson Stylus Photo RX700 all-in-one photo printer

The RX700 is the flagship model in Epson's new range of all-in-one printers (the other three are the RX 600, 620 and the RX640) and as such offers the most comprehensive set of tools in the range. A quality scanner and printer with copier functionality...

Excellent scan and photo print quality, great combination of scanner, printer, copier features, stand alone operation, CD/DVD printing, dual paper trays for greater variety of media handling

Sluggish top quality print setting, relatively big footprint

A quality scanner and printer with copier functionality makes lots of sense for anyone with limited work space in the home or the office and while the footprint of the RX700 is not the smallest, it packs a great output/input quality punch.

Expert Review

Although this versatile unit requires a hefty initial outlay and its upkeep will cost you close to $20 for each of its six ink tanks, the quality of its photo prints, scanning and photocopying is excellent.

Epson Stylus Photo RX700

The Epson Stylus Photo RX700 is as much a digital photo lab as an all-in-one.

Printer, scanner, and standalone copier. Prints from cameras and memory cards. Prints on printable discs. Scans 35mm slides and film. Dual paper feed. Excellent performance.

No automatic document feeder. No fax support.

Easy access ink and disc printing are just a couple of the RX700's new tricks

Printer, scanner and copier with excellent photo applications, works with or without a Mac, CD and DVD printing, PictBridge compatible, two paper compatible, two paper trays for different types of media, USB 2.0 of media, USB 2.0 connectivity.

Large footprint hogs up workspace, prints slowly.

EPSON Stylus Photo RX700 C11C583001 Up to 20 ppm Up to 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi InkJet MFC / All-In-One Color Printer

I got this primarily as it was the only AIO printer with CD printing ability. The improvements in printing/scanning quality over my last AIO were more than I had expected.

Functions excellently, great image quality (both scanning and printing), independently replacable ink cartridges w/ ink level reporting

Body feels a bit flimsy for my liking, uses ink a bit fast, windows drivers are quirky (forgetting paper type selections and clumsy USB disconnect)
