HP Photosmart C7180

Silver and grey this is a multi function unit (it has fax) and it is described as an office product so unfortunately however nice it may be it will be expensive.

First the all important dimensions it is 44x34x18cm rather different than what is stated in the HP link, mine include the inserted power lead. All the controls are in a panel in the centre of the face with the exception of the on/off switch that for...

Hewlett-Packard Photosmart C7180

Integrated 802.11b/g wireless networking, integrated Bluetooth, film adapter, easy installation

Software takes a long time to install, doesn't come standard with an automatic duplex unit

If you're into photography and you want the convenience of wireless connectivity, this unit is hard to go past. It was easy to set up and its print quality is excellent.

Integrated 802.11b/g wireless networking, Easy to set up, Automatic document feeder, Compact design

Memory cards can't be read over the network, print speed was slightly slow

Brother's MFC-665CW has great features, is easy to set up and is well designed. It's suitable for a home office or for a small office environment.

HP Photosmart C7180 All-In-One

The HP Photosmart C7180 All-In-One offers all the features of a photo lab, plus faxing.

Faxes and scans over network. Scans film. Standalone copier, fax, and photo lab.

Relatively slow for business applications. Uneven photo quality for black-and-white photos.

HP Photosmart C7180 All-in-One review

The Photosmart C7180 sits near the top of HP's consumer all-in-one photo printer line (only the 3310 all-in-one is more expensive). For $400, you get a machine that prints, scans, copies, and surprisingly, faxes. It's also network ready and wireless...

Includes fax, wireless networking, and built-in Bluetooth; lots of photo options, including slide and negative scanner; good scan quality and great photo prints; generous support hours.

Poor text quality and graphics prints; limited fax, copy, and scan options.

The HP Photosmart C7180 all-in-one photo printer serves up a boatload of features and prints great-looking photos, but it performs all of its tasks slowly. You can do better for the same amount of money.

HP Photosmart C7180 All-in-One

One way to describe all-in-ones (AIOs) is by the number of functions they offer. Three—printing, scanning, and copying—is the absolute minimum. Five to six is enough to qualify as a full-function AIO. The HP Photosmart C7180 All-In-One ($399.99 direct)...

The HP Photosmart C7180 All-In-One (AIO) delivers more functions than most AIOs—including film scanning and faxing—and does most of them well.

HP Photosmart C7180 (4mice)

Although we ran into a few software quirks, the HP Photosmart C7180's features, connection options, and solid print and scan quality make it a fine fit for those looking for a good all-around, fully featured, color inkjet MFP.

Large LCD ; wireless 802.11g, wired Ethernet, and USB 2.0 connections ; camera memory card slots ; transparency scanning capability ; built-in color fax machine

Expensive ; some software quirks ; no ADF

The C7180's streamlined design makes this unit very user-friendly right out of the box. Memory card readers supporting most types of digital camera cards are conveniently located on the unit's right-hand corner near the paper tray. Copying, scanning,...
